These fly traps are the cat's whiskers! Don't wait until the flies get really pesky in August - why let them breed all that time? That just turns 100 flies in 10 million to have to catch! Hang one out when you see the 1st fly, in May or June. If you have a lot of flies like next to a stable or a refuse pile, you might need to replace them once a month. Unbelievably, one trap lasted me all summer this year, but it was full to the top with thousands of flies, and this is the 1st year I've used only one. You won't regret buying and using these! Just make sure you hang them in a sunny location far from the house and people area because they really do Stink with a capitol S!
I’ve not had issues with flies until this year. The first one I bought filled up so fast and started stinking so bad and fast I had to dispose of and ordered a second one. It filled up so fast and I ordered another one then I decided to order two more. I still have one hanging and one not used yet but I will say this the flies have slowly went away.
The first week of flies had started up and I had at least a dozen inside like every year. I decided I needed to stop them while they were outside so I searched for an outdoor fly trap and came across this. It has great reviews and collects so many flies. I hung one up outside the front door first and that practically did all the work. but decided to hang one up by the chicken coop and after that one in another location in the back yard. I would honestly do a few more if I could find some more easy locations. Hang them high. dogs will go for them.
I used this to make a path safe near my home that was terribly covered in bugs. I thought at first it would catch mosquitos, but instead it caught different flies like house flies. I think these flies are coming from my neighbors home. I think the flies live in an ecosystem that is depandant on diferent factors. Overall, I think it does make your camping experience or your outdoors experience more livable, safe and inviting.
Thank you, Walmart for always having what I need on hand. I love my local Walmart. It's convenient and they always have what I need. I bought this rescue smarter pest control outdoor fly trap. He just add water subtract and hang it up as a simple as 12 and three outside your door and it traps flies very well. I highly recommend this if you're having trouble with flies. and let me tell you these traps work go get yourself some.
We have not been able to enjoy our backyard due to flies biting us so we tried these. They work great. We have 5 of them in the yard and after one week they are full. Which is kind of gross but also effective. They do smell if you get close to them, so do not put them next to your patio. The flies will find them. I really like that I can close them up and place them in the garage on trash day. I put them inside another bag so they do not leak in the garage can.
My daughter bought these the flies were awful in our garage. We just cannot move with the flies and padding hitting them even outside. She got this and I'll tell you one thing. This is fantastic. I suggest to buy it. You cannot go wrong. This is the best thing to use to kill the flies they get in there and they're bunch of flies within the time that you put it up. It was amazing the way it was. She did not have it. They're more than 15 minutes in the flies were already in it. We have two of them one by the garbage can and one on the front and it works miracles. We don't we don't have flies, sitting here on the door waiting to open so we can come in the house. I suggest you buy it. You cannot go wrong with this.
My doggo and I were being driven mad by flies out of nowhere for a couple days when we were trying to chill in our patio garden. So I got this. hung it, and it VERY swiftly started working. Within an hour there were 10-20 flies in it instead of our hair lol
i got these because there were always a handful of flies around my trash cans, so i put it out one evening next to the cans. the next day, the number of flies was ASTRONOMICAL. i went from having maybe 10 flies to having at least a hundred in the trap and around it. it's clearly very effective but it also REALLY attracts more flies and worsens a minor annoyance. also, it's difficult to get rid of once it's full (which it was totally full of flies in less than two days) without spilling dead or dying flies all over the trash cans, which is what was attracting flies and got me to buy these in the first place.
OMGoodness the smell!?! Awful. It smells like a rotting corpse. Does it work? Yes. Not gonna say it works like magic, I've had it up about a week and have about ten flies inside it. Are having less flies worth the smell? I'm still trying to decide. If you put it in your garage be prepared for the smell to linger inside.
