Annoying gnats and fruit Flys? THIS is the product! I was skeptical but I can't tell you how wonderful it is NOT to have those little pests flying around and there was dozens of them. This invention is in same category as sliced bread and microwaves! Try it.
there are other versions in the garden sections of Walmart , they do not work. this specific one has always attracted fruit flies . I mean a lot of them before the liquid evaporates..
I like these because once the liquid fills once the liquid dries up or there's a lot of flies in it, you can pour it all out and put your own apple cider vinegar in it, and it works the same way so you can just keep refilling it instead of buying more
The cutest little apple that doesn't work. I bought two packs (4 traps total) and caught maybe 3 in 24 hours. We have a ton in my house right now because of the rain. Save your money and just get some apple cinder vinegar and dish soap, put it in a bowl, poke holes in the top, and try that. Worked better for me.
Absolutely worthless! I've had 4 in one room, all grouped together. I have 6 in another room all spread out. I also have 2 in my small kitchen. I've seen the gnats crawling on it. But ZERO have fallen into the trap! However my water glass has 3 dead gnats in it! These things are completely WORTHLESS! Don't waste your money, its just apple cider vinegar and soap. I'm fairly certain it's literally that. I take pride in my reviews. I'm a nobody, but I give my unbiased, honest opinions. Thank you for reading!
The ingredients of the liquid included in the box, is not provided on the package. When I opened the package, I noticed I smelled vinegar. All it is is plastic apples you pour the vinegar into. I had a few fruit flies in the apple things, but for the price, I could've bought a gallon of vinegar. I returned it.
Takes FOREVER for this to work. What i ended up doing is putting the end of a stalk of romaine lettuce in some water on a plate. It will start growing again. The fruit flies flock to it. Then i ended up just spraying the moshpit with an all purpose cleaner. Multiple fatalities in one spray! Make sure the spray is in mist setting and do a sample spray to make sure it will get them all.
They must have a new formula, because after a few days, the liquid seems to evaporate and was ineffective after that. I've bought these before and loved them. I got two sets and the same thing happened both times.
I have a gnat/fruit fly problem in my kitchen. I filled both apples and set them out in my kitchen, and after over 48 hours, there is only one gnat caught in one of the apples, when there are a few dozen flying around. I can see the bugs landing on it, so they are obviously attracted to it, but it is not effective in actually trapping them and killing them. Would not recommend and will not be purchasing again.
in the 3 DAYS I had this out, it caught 5 fruit flies before the fluid evaporated. "90 day supply"? NOPE. I know fly strips are gross and unsightly, but they're MUCH more effective AND CHEAPER. I also found that spraying areas where fruit flies gather with Dawn power wash spray is effective. Don't waste your money on these
