I'm diabetic and any chocolate I get that's sugar free either hurts my stomach or tastes terrible. These have the best taste %26 don't bother my stomach. They're so creamy and reminds me of fudge. I don't use them to bake, I just eat them as a snack. They melt quick and very easy in your hand so I think they would probably be great for baking.
We use this and we also use the Lily's brand milk Chocolate chips. They are both sugar free, but the do differ in their firmness of the morsel. When a soft morsel that melts at a lower temperature is desired. this is the pick. When I need something firmer at higher temperatures, we do Lily's/ For example, if I was distinct chocolate chip prices in cookies or some other desert, the higher melting point of Lily's will keep the shape. However, I adore the softer, lower meting point of these for snacking on directly. They are so smooth in your mouth and wonderful in flavor. They are good as additions to yogurt too because they are softer at the cooler temps.
Now that we've tried all '3' Bake Believe chips (milk chocolate, semi sweet chocolate and dark chocolate) we love 'em all. Excellent in baking and I also melt them down and cover nuts and strawberries. Whether milk chocolate, dark or semi sweet, we find them a healthy and tasty alternative chocolate chips with a higher sugar content.
Overall, they are a little pricey. But you do get more per bag than the main competitor gives you. The taste is good but I feel again that the main competitor(her**) has a creamier, better flavor. So for the budget minded, these are fine. If you are just having a handful for a snack, they are good as well. Also they melt nicely for use in other ways.
I prefer milk chocolate morsels over semi-sweet and dark and these taste so close to the regular morsels. The price on these are very good compared to other brands that are almost double in price. I snack on these to curb my sweet tooth since I'm trying to eat healthier and lose weight. I would caution that eating these may cause some stomach discomfort and gas. If that's not a problem for you then add them to your yogurt, oats, recipes and anything else.
The price of these has jumped $2.00 over night. These were a great alternative to Lily's for the price, but now they are the same price, Lily's is the better option.
I wanted so badly to love these milk chocolate chips but they do not taste good. They have a slightly bitter aftertaste. I ate a few as a taste test, then placed the rest of the bag in the freezer. Maybe they'll be more palatable when they're frozen. I like to add chocolate chips to yogurt and oatmeal cups. I will not buy these again and I'm not likely to try any other brand of keto-friendly chocolate.
whoever is packaging these items does not realize that net weight means the actual food weight without packaging. I first bought these about 6 months ago the packages weighed 9 oz unopened and the net weight should have been 8.6. I bought more today and weighed each package, they were 8.9 oz which means they are putting even less product inside. is that why they're on sale?
I would love to let everybody know how this item was but when I got my delivery I was told that my order was delivered which it wasn't so I actually don't know how this item turned out to be I guess Walmart felt like I didn't deserve to have it 🤷♀️
Do not buy these....go and buy cheaper chocolate and leave these for me - I would not recommend that you buy these otherwise I may come to your house and eat them all..... you probably wouldnt like them anyway so dont waste your money on these :)
