Have been using this for a few months now; really makes a difference in ability to remember and track when I've taken medication/supplements. each compartment is decently sized and can fit multiple pills or even those large tablet types of supplements. The mechanism to open is a button that pops open the lid and you hear a click when it secures shut. The colors may differ from the listing, which was fine with me though if you are bothered by this you may want to look in stores. I think Walmart had the best price on this type of pill planner I could find, even compared with amazon (I was surprised by how expensive these were).
This would be perfect if the AM (blue) were closest to the person and the writing not upside down. All the ones in the past had blue for AM closest to the person. Confuses my Mom. Love the new large size and easy open lids. Come on engineers, watch an old person trying to use these.
I do not like the great big pill planner. I thought I was getting the smaller one. So was disappointed , I already have several of the big ones, that was the reason I ordered was to get a smaller one. Probably my fault for not looking at the size.
The compartments are large, but it is very difficult to open all of them at once. They keep each other from raising enough to get your pills in. I get all of my bottles out once a week and there are several that I take twice a day. If you open all of the AM and PM doors they bump into each other so it’s hard to fit large tablets in. It’s not very convenient to open one side at a time.
received from Walmart delivery damaged. Upset that I am required to bring it back to a Walmart store to receive a refund on an item that was delivered. plastic clasp broken.
This pill case was very hard to use especially for someone with arthritus or carpal tunnel. There are small buttons to push to open the lids but they don't pop open! Nor do the lids open all the way because the lid of the morning will hit the lid of the afternoon and vice versa. Therefore the pills hard to put in, especially larger pills like vitamins. Additionally, the pills open on one side for morning and the opposite side for the evening. If the pills are facing you, you can't open the evening. If you turn it around for the evening, then the labels are upside down and the left hand side starts with the end of the week. In other words, morning pills start with Sunday on the left like reading, left to right. When you turn the case around for afternoon, Sunday is on the right and you have to go right to left!
I am returning these because there’s no way to take the lids off so you can put the pills in and you have to only lift one side at a time because if you have both of them up one interferes with the other and you cannot pull them out of the face they’re in their permanently, so it doesn’t work out when you’re trying to refill the compartments
the letters of the week started coming off a week after purchase. the one row of days is on upside down and the closures are hard to open.
item is difficult to open. I understand why the so-called locks are there but the box does not travel. It is only for home use for my vitamins. you have to depress the little lock every time you want to access it. Not necessary for my use as it does not travel. Honestly I find it difficult to open yet I'm not an older person. I recuperating with spine surgery. My list of vitamins is important to my recovery. I'm ordering another one with no lock so no do not recommend first stay-at-home pill box
I bought this product because it says it's a large-capacity, easy-open pill case, except that it's not. I already have one large capacity am/pm press-open weekly pill case that is truly easy to open. However, when I press open this Equate version's pill case, I can't even tell if the lid even opened because it opens so slightly, and then I have to use my thumb to open it all the way. But when I press open the pill case of a different brand I've been using for years, the lid immediately and easily opens so big that the lid is pointing toward the ceiling. Now I know why this Equate version is half the price of the good one I already have. The only reason I bought a second am/pm pill case is because I now have meds to be taken in the early pm and late pm.
