I buy this on a monthly basis. I noticed it's not on the shelf any longer. Been buying it since 2002. It's the only thing I can take for my allergies on a daily basis that doesn't make me drowsy.

I have used these for years at the advise of my mother. I take one at the first sign of cold symptoms and then another every three hours with fidelity. I'm able to continue my day as if I am not getting sick and over-all my symptoms are gone within a day or two without any side effects.

I like Chlorpheniramine Maleate 4mg Antihistamine, even though it only lasts 4-6 hours. Longer acting antihistamines I tried didn't work well. I have a chronic post-nasal drip, not lots of allergies. Claritin did nothing for me. Zyrtec knocked me out. Fexofenadine (generic of I can't remember what off the top of my head, but very well known brand) which I took for a while and decided it didn't do enough. Chlorpheniramine Maleate has been around for quite a while, I think. It seems to be enough to manage my drip, and it's relatively inexpensive. I rated value for price as 5 for the Walmart brand because it was a rock-bottom price—way less than in any pharmacies. May have even cost less than on Amazon. Really good price.

This is one of the two antihistamines that don't cause insomnia for me, so I appreciate that Walmart still sells this first generation antihistamine. The brand name product is so much more expensive, so I appreciate the price and that I can get several months worth in a bottle.

The best light weight antihistamine low dose can use every 4-6 hrs, great for bug bites stops the itch, clears your sinus and opens your bronchial tubes. Been taking it all my life I'm 71 and I tell everyone it does not put you to sleep like most 100 pills les than $5

I bought an allergy medicine with chlorpheniramine maleate, but it also had Advil. Buying this generic brand is much cheaper. It's a first generation antihistamine which " they say" is worse for you. However, my allergies are really bad, and I also take pseudoephedrine every day. My sinuses are always so congested that I can't do a rinse or use nasal sprays. This is the only thing that I have found that actually works.

Years of suffering every night with post nap drip have come to an end, thanks to an excellent pharmacist who recommended this OTC medication. My PCP, and my ENT couldn't solve the problem. A pharmacist did. I made checked with my PCP to make sure it wouldn't have an adverse reaction with the prescriptions I use. I take this medicine at night. I do not get a hangover from it, and it keeps the PND away all night, all day. This medicine is gold to me. It is affordable and efficient. Never underestimate a good pharmacist!!!!!
