perfect size grill for two people. I actually got this one to replace my bigger grill, cuz for just two people, this will cook everything you need. easier to store, and will use less charcoal than a bigger grill. easy to assemble too. we're happy with it.
Great values of the price. Easy to assemble. Sturdy grill! Great quality! I could def see this costing more like 30-40 dollars. Thank goodness it wasn’t.
I have a larger barbq but its diffult to pull it out to use it. This grill is a great size for food for me and my dog. its easy to light the charcoal and doesnt take long to cook. moving it is easy for me. i can also take it where I nèd to if I am traveling.
Have used it 2 times in a week. It sits up off the table but I did put a metal flat sheet underneath it as well. Happy with this purchase. I put an oversized cover on it to protect it from moisture as it'll rust up as it says in the user manual that came with it.
This little grill is amazing! It’s everything a large grill is except smaller. It’s super easy to travel with, takes a lot less charcoal and easily fits two large ribeyes with room to spare. It holds 5 preformed chuck beef patties. I bought an 8” round pizza pan that I put foil over and place 10 slices of bacon on and then lay the pan right on the grill after the coals burn down; it cooks the bacon to perfection! I can also use the pan for sausage, eggs, toast or English muffins or tortillas. It never burns the bottom of the pan when coals are hot and it stays hot for cooking a full breakfast with very little charcoal. We have 3 large grills a smoker and a 36” blackstone but since I’ve discovered this little baby its the only grill we take camping with us now and, it fits in the floor board with no mess, it’s super easy to keep clean. We Love It! Keep in mind, there is only the two of us but I cook enough to have leftovers so, I’d say this grill can very easily feed 4 to 5 people in one meal.
The Expert Grill 14.5” Charcoal Tabletop Portable Grill might be compact, but don’t let its size fool you—this little beast brings the heat. It’s lightweight enough to carry in one hand, yet sturdy enough to handle a full round of burgers, hot dogs, and even a few chicken thighs without wobbling. Setup is quick, the airflow vents make it easy to keep your coals just right, and the charcoal flavor? Chef’s kiss. It’s perfect for tailgates, camping, or backyard hangouts when you don’t want to haul out a big grill. Plus, clean-up is way easier than I expected—no all-day scrubbing session required. If you want smoky, juicy results without the bulky grill drama, this tabletop wonder is the way to go. Highly recommend for grill masters on the move!
Went camping and my site had no grill. Considered buying a "throw away" single use grill but saw this one. it was priced right and worked great for the 2 of us. metal is very thin but i think it will last for the entire season. It is not a Weber kettle but cooks steaks and burgers well even though the coals are very close to the grate. Just monitor closely when cooking. A very good low cost option and much better than the "throw away" type.
The grill was a breeze to put together. The directions were easily followed. Cooking on the grill was enjoyable. Even though this was a small compact portable grill it didn't feel like it. I cooked 12 burgers and 12 hot dogs. Using the recommended grill bricks I still had time to grill a dozen half ears of corn as well before it started to even cool off at all. So it was a great Fourth of July and welcome home party.
This is great for when you want to BBQ for 1-4 people! Assembly was easy, set up on a table instead of pulling out a large grill was convenient, and being able to clean the grate in a kitchen sink was a bonus. The grill itself feels sturdy and well-made by “small grill” standards. I’m also using it to grill steak dinners for two - they turn out much better than pan-fried, broiled, or indoor/grilled steaks. In my opinion, this is all you need if single or a couple without kids!
It’s a great little grill. I have used it everyday since I got it 2 weeks ago and the only problem I have with it is I have to empty the grill every time I am done but besides that putting together was literally a 10 minute quick job and it’s been great having something that is easy and simple to grill on. I would definitely recommend this especially if it’s on sale.
