when I first bought these protein bars I fully expected them to taste like cardboard. I was pulled in by the price on the picture on the package made it looked appetizing but I still had doubts. I have to say that I almost feel as if I'm cheating and eating a candy bar. the chocolate mixed with the nuts tastes delicious definitely worth the price
These protein bars are great. I cannot deal with most protein bars due to their consistency, but I love these and they truly do have a good deal of protein to them. I use them as a breakfast at work so that I don't have to fuss before leaving home. I'd recommend them.
I eat one of these protein bars nearly every day, usually late afternoon when I need an energy boost but don't want to take the time to fix anything else. The protein bars taste good and have a lot of protein, and are relatively low in fat and sugar compared to similar products. These are also not as chewy as some other protein bars I use. I don't eat much meat, so these bars help me get the protein I need.
Exactly as good if not better than its name brand counterparts, and much cheaper too. 10g of protein and plenty of sugar, so it's not a super healthy product, but it holds its own against far far more expensive options. Clif bar's don't give you any more protein and these taste better and have a better texture. They will melt in the heat, though, and they leave your hands sticky. I often supplement the protein with some sugar free peanut butter to make it less sweet as well. it's not the best for you, but its unbeatable for its price in a pinch.
I love these Walmart bars. They are a great go to snack. They are not full of sugar. I eat them because I am on the go often and I prefer to have a snack that is not a regular boring granola bar or a sugar packed candy bar. I but these all the time. I like both flavors.
Better than described! These have a really good taste %26 flavor! There is some crunch factor going on that I love! A good source for fiber with no added sugars! The caramel is not sticky! I have Medically Induced IBS so it is hard for me to find foods that get along with the FODMAP diet! These passed the test and now I am a repeat buyer! The value pack is a good value %26 the size of the bars is enough to satisfy an urge for something sweet and they are great for a midday protein boost! I do recommend these to everyone even if you don't have IBS! Hope my honest review helps you!
A sensible, cost efficient nutrition bar. 3 stars only because there is very little sweetness to the bar. If Walmart bakers would add some non-calorie sweetener. it would taste better %26 leave you more satisfied. If that choice means putting in sugar then I say leave it as it is. I am buying this again for an in-between meals protein bar. Good job Walmart.
These aren't the healthiest of protein bars but they are pretty tasty and at a great price point. The melt easily and seem to easily get crushed in a purse so you have to protect them. But they are much healthier than most snacks you can grab at a convenience store.
They taste alright. They have a decent amount of fiber and protein. They were cheaper than the name brand and taste the same. I did a taste test with the name brand and couldn't tell a difference. I might get them again when I want to change things up a bit.
As a protein bar this one sucks, it's supposed to have 10g of protein per bar but I doubt that's true given that I've had other better brands for less grams and I felt like those were real protein bars. If you want this as a sugary snack then get it but not as something to help you feel full. Won't be getting these again
