I'm a senior on a fixed income so I have to watch my budget, but I found that as far as sugar goes I spend a little bit more to have a better quality product. C%26H sugar doesn't fly around my kitchen and get all over my counters for just getting a teaspoon, I don't know what other brands are doing. That makes their sugar do that, but I got really tired of cleaning up my counters every time I got a teaspoon of sugar out with this powdery substance that other brands seem to have. I'm very happy with this sugar.
So far, I've been very happy with Walmart manage Walmart plus membership and I'm going to continue it for the year when my free trial runs out all the deliveries have been on time. They've been what I ordered exactly and I'm gonna take more advantage of more than groceries with Walmart.
I love C%26H but not the price. When I was a working stiff this is the only sugar I bought. It has a pure flavor and sweetness and even the consistency of the fine crunchy grain is perfect. It dissolves, well, it tastes great. However, ever since Covid, I am on a tight budget and tend to buy the generic sugar (beet sugar) for cost effectiveness. However, when Walmart is out of their sugar, I always substitute with C*H and the quality is night and day.
C%26H Pure Cane Sugar has no equal (Domino brand in the Eastern and Southern USA) for flavor and sweetness. I can tell by the flavor. And I only buy C%26H! *When I couldn't lift the 10-pound bags I bought the 4-pound for a while (they're also small enough for storing in upper cabinets). C%26H Pure Cane Sugar bakes better, makes better candy, better jams, and everything else sugar is used in. I've been using it for 50 years! If the package doesn't say Cane Sugar, it's likely Beet Sugar--which isn't as sweet, is cheaper, doesn't perform as well, and I'm allergic to beets! Insist on Pure Cane Sugar!
The only thing I was upset with was my sugar wasn't package in a bubble package and I recommend if you order the sugar you might want to order just one at a time.
My ONLY COMPLAINT about this sugar is the fact that we used to get 5 pounds in the same size bag of sugar now it's 4 but for more money, I do realize that this is more of an economy problem but I still had to mention that
I would recommend that you check the sugar for huge lumps because that is what I received this time to my utter disbelief. I was wondering what caused the sugar to be stuck in very chunks that I had to grind into usable cups. Next time I will order the tub for a couple of $ more. In hopes of finding granulated sugar.
The C and H sugar is a 5 star but not the price. I ordered the 10 lbs because it was discounted for $10. You substituted that for 3 - 4lbs sugars at a cost of $4.44
Did not mean to rate this one star or any stars I wasn't gonna read anything stars So ignore this because really it's a good sugar. I just don't wanna do all the rating stuff.
Beware of ordering from Walmart for delivery. I pay for Walmart Plus got a damaged bag of sugar that was sticky. Sugar was thrown in the trash. Just found out it was from another item leaking. Walmart expects me to return it to the store for a refund. Will be canceling my Walmart Plus once it runs out. I order delivery for a reason and pay for the serivce plus tipping the driver. Whoever changed the policy to make us jump thur hoops over damaged items is going to loose Walmart a lot of business. Also wasted 30 minutes on chat to have the rep lie to me that they had taken care of it. So I am out about $5.50 is damaged items. I was spending $40 a week on delivery no more.
