(5 pack) Tony Chachere’s, Seasoning, Cajun, No Salt, 5 oz

I have high blood pressure, and I take medications for my blood pressure. I have tried so many no salt seasonings, I love what this seasoning do for my food. I put this seasoning on just about everything I eat. I highly recommend this product for anyone that's have a sodium intake problem. There is no aftertaste, and you can use as much as you like.

When I began having issues with my blood pressure, I knew it was time to change my seasons. I gave up on seasoning salts, onion salt, garlic salt, etc. I became aware of how much salt I was consuming and I had to make some changes. I considered Mrs. Dash, but by the time you figure out if you like her seasonings, you would have spent a good penny experimenting. I tried a couple, but they didn't suit my taste. I started experimenting with seasonings with no salt, yet they were hard to find and not always in stock. While shopping on Walmart.com, I found this Cajun seasoning with no salt. I was hoping it would not be too hot and spicy. It is a little spicy and mild. Of course, you can add your on ingredients, but the Tony Chachere is a good base to start with for like chicken wings. I think I have been buying this brand for close to 7 years ago I can't see myself changing.

Cannot beat Tony's however the regular Tony's has become too salty for our taste. So I buy this one and add a little salt. Turns out much better. My husband likes to mix a small amount of dry crab boil to the unsalted Tony's.

heart healthy and great on everything. if u want the heat add your own chili or cayenne but this great on its own. Just hate the cheap container. for this kinda money should be better.

There are 2 versions of this product, one with salt and one without. I've tried both. I prefer the no salt one. It has a very good blend of spices that complements all meats from fish, meat and poultry. It's extra beneficial to those who are watching their sodium content, flavor with high amounts of salt. It's pricier than the salt version but worth the extra cost. Give it a try!!!

Watching sodium intake, but want lots of flavor? No problem, this fills the bill. Good on seafood, pork, and chicken. Not bad on veggies, either. I use this on my oven fried chicken, as well as my crockpot Low Country Boil recipe. Only down side? It's a bit pricier than I like.

Spices are okay, but apparently no salt means they add sugar instead. I should've read more closely because the first ingredient in the No-Salt version is brown sugar, which isn't in the regular version. It's much sweeter than the regular seasoning, and it doesn't work for what I usually use it for because I don't put sugar in my eggs or my vegetables. Will use this for maybe seasoning meat for particular dishes, but I won't be purchasing again.

this item is false advertising by company. it taste sweet. checked label and it has brown sugar as first ingredients and regular sugar listed later. the nutrition label states no sugar 0% DV and no added sugar 0% DV which is a lie with first ingredient being brown sugar. was bought for a diabetic person .

The taste is nasty. I know that with no salt nothing really tastes good but instead of salt they put sugar… YUCK. Sugar is not healthy either. We did not realize this until after we bought it and got home. We read the ingredients and still thought maybe if tried it, it would be a mental thing nope.. it was nasty no matter what. Opening it was difficult the tab kept getting in the way. So hardly any came out. Had to push the tab down just to get any out. Not sure why if there is no salt why add any sugar since we were just looking for some hot Cajun seasoning. No Cajun flavor just a strong sweet nasty flavor. You do not mix foods and do not mix sweet with seasonings… just wrong and nasty.

This no-salt version is too sweet. First ingredient listed is brown sugar. No where in the original version is brown sugar listed as an ingredient. So salt was replaced with brown sugar. Yuk!!
