Replaced my older 2004 very heavy Proform treadmill with this one for several reasons: 1. Lighter weight to move around 2. Slightly updated features 3. Weight and stride capacity to accommodate my 6'5 heavy frame Son. I considered purchasing another Proform which had served me well for over 20 years but found that this Famistar was a better fit for my budget. We have used it for several weeks and thus far have had no issues and I am pleased with the quality for the price. Very easy to assemble if you follow the instructions properly. The only minor downside is that it does not include a built in fan. Extra bonus is that I like having the speed and incline controls within easy reach on the handles.

Really well built. Packaged very well for shipping. Assembly was very easy with good instructions. It's obviously heavy so get some help to move it. The treadmill has a longer track so you can walk or run on it. I'm 6'2 with a long stride. It has a great speed and incline control on both the screen and at your hands. Highly recommend this unit.

I really like the treadmill. It is easy to use, and I feel safe on it. The on ly problem I have is that the handles are too short and I don't like that the controls are on the handles. For someone using a treadmill for the first time, it is a little scarry with the short handles and they have to be careful not to hit any controls when holding on to the handles. It is great to use the controls on the handles when stopping the machine. You don't have to let go of the handles to stop the machine if you use the controls on the handles. I guess there is good and bad about the handles. The machine is quiet and there is no struggle for the motor. The deck is one of the widest that I've seen and long enough for tall individuals. You feel comfortable when you use it since the deck will handle most body shapes. My husband put this together himself with no problem. I'm sure it would have been easier with 2 people, but if that is not an option, don't be afraid to put it together if you don't have a second person to help you. I almost didn't get this because of some of the reviews saying you must have 2 people. I'm glad I didn't listen. i still have not used the different programs or any of the things that you have to use computer functions. I don't know how to use most of these yet. I am just learning how to use my cell phone, so it is not the fault of the machine. Buy this treadmill, you won't be sorry.

Easy to set up and fold. Excellent quality for the price. Makes working out from home very easy. Seller was very attentive to any shipping discrepancies. Will definitely order again for a friend who t family member. Download app for more workout options. Love the iPad holder which changes sizes according to your tech choice. Bluetooth easy to connect and sounds amazing!

For the value, this is a fantastic treadmill. I would definitely recommend making sure 2 people are available for assembly. It totally gets the job done when you want to work out at home.

I got my treadmill a day early box was not damaged, put it together very quickly and easily. everything works as expected. downloaded the app and went for a run on the Beach very happy with the price and the quality.

One other user mentioned that this treadmill is manufactured with a slight incline at it's 0 incline setting. For this reason, I can't give this a 5-star review, because sometimes you just want to walk or jog without the extra challenge. I love everything else about this treadmill. If you're okay with a permanent slight incline, then this is the absolute best value treadmill on the market.

This treadmill (I bought thinking it has a 5.0 hp motor) has a 4.5 hp motor. I found 3 ads, same treadmill all with different motor horsepower. I opened up the unit and the motor had no horsepower listed ( motors made in USA have the hp on the unit, CHINA DOES NOT LIST HP). I copied down all the manufacturers amp/serial number, used a Chinese guide book and found my motor is 4.5hp even though I bought a 5.0 hp. The same company sells 5.1 hp (higher price) bottom line is the average customer won't do the research I did. The increase hp also means the cost of the treadmill is more. I weigh 190lbs, I wanted a 5.0 hp but got a 4.5hp. Works good, so far. I bought the extended warranty just in case. Shame on sellers, knowing the motor cannot be identified, selling it at any hp to make more money!!! 3 stars for lying about the hp.

I'm hoping I will be able to come back and edit this review to be more positive. Our treadmill arrived and assembled perfectly, but would not power on. We followed all the steps in the instruction manual and when we removed the cover to the motor, we discovered melted plastic all over the control board. I took multiple pictures (included) and immediately emailed customer service. Because it was a weekend I followed up with a phone call on the first business day. I was told that nothing could be done because the customer service team did not have access to the email I sent and I would have to wait for a response. I waited three days and called customer service again. I was told the same thing. I just need to wait for someone to respond to the email. I sent a second email today. I decided to take a chance with this treadmill as the good reviews are really good, but the negative reviews are exactly like mine. I am opening a dispute with my credit card company because I am not paying for an item that will not work. This was purchased to replace a treadmill that was used daily so I'm hopeful the company will respond and make this right.

This treadmill did not work and they sold me a lemon. The day it arrived to my home I assembled it following the instructions to the T. Once it was ready, I plugged it up at the switch light came on but not the main display board. I tried plugging it into different outlets but it still didn't work. I immediately contacted the company customer service and they told me to send an email with a video of the problem to which I did and they said they would get back with me. I then called Walmart customer service and they put in an order for the company to reach back out. Long story short the company never contacted me and since I place the order on December 22nd and it arrived at my home Dec 29th. It was pass the considered 48 hour mark for me to return it. But shout out to Walmart customer service because they was able to refund me my money. However, now I am stuck with a brand new treadmill that does not work and I have to find a way to get rid of it smh. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. It is on clearance for a reason
