(6 pack) Mezzetta Bell Pepper Zesty Relish, 12 fl oz Jar, Medium Heat

I've been trying to find an equal to a recipe of my grandmother of German descent. It was her homemade sweet " Chili sauce " made with sweet red bells and onions. I finally have, and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. perfect for sandwiches or dogs. Zero heat!

I've been using Mezzetta Zesty Bell Pepper Relish for years and when not available at my supermarket, which is most of the time, I order it on-line by the case. It makes the BEST hot dog chilli! Just brown hamburger, add a small amount of cumin or chilli powder, a small can of tomato sauce, and about 1/2 cup or more of Mezzetta Zesty Bell Pepper Relish and you've got yourself the best hot dog chilli. Of course you can add whatever ingredients you'd like, but this recipe is the foundation for great chilli dogs. I use Mezzetta Zesty Bell Pepper Relish in chicken salad, deviled eggs, potato salad, sloppy Joe's, and many, many more dishes. It's the BEST on the market and second to none! Love Mezzetta relish. I use it in my homemade ground beef bbq. Saves the hassle of cutting up peppers and they have that extra little zing. Excellent product. So many uses for them to awaken those taste buds.

This is the best way to elevate my meal. I have used it on sandwiches, wraps, hamburgers, hotdogs, and pasta salads. I look forward to trying it on new food items in my future.

I absolutely love this pepper relish. I don't like McDonald's much, but put some relish on a cheeseburger and wow! Makes it way better than normal. On Hotdogs YUM!! Absolutely the best relish I have had!!

Only a little sweeter than I like, but if you like sweet pepper relish, this is great for you. It's not too hot, more of a mild heat.

I love this stuff! It reminds me of the canned peppers that my grandmother used to make. It has a real homemade taste.

Problem not with product!! The shipping was a disaster 4 of the jars were broken and damaged and returned!!! Prompt refund. The poorly packaging of the glass jars caused jars to slam together and break!

This review has nothing to do with the product because I couldn't tell you a thing about that. I ordered 6 jars, “glass jars”. It was shipped to me in a box with nothing protecting the glass jars so they were hanging out loose banging against each other! When opened my door to pickup the delivery from my front porch I was greeted with the smell if relish and a box with obvious wet cardboard. I carefully brought the box in set it on the counter, opened the box and guess what!! It was full of glass and relish. Who could have guessed that shipping 6 glass jars unprotected loose in a box would result in that? ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE WOULD HAVE GUESSED THAT! Are there no standards or procedures for the shipping department when shipping glass? I am just blown away at this point. So if you are thinking of ordering the 6 jar option I wish you luck.
