The quality is excellent as of now I have not been able to take out to test it on the road I have it set-up my indoor bike trainer and will have to hold that review on shifter, gears and handlebars until the weather gets better. Still it is worth the price. the only problem I found there were no pre- drill holes for tire pump. Assembly I gave it a "B plus". The plastic shield at the gear location was damage I could not find a part number in order to place it.
i Purchased mine at a local Wal-Mart fully assembled. Everything was perfectly adjusted except for seat and handle bar height. It weighs 34 pounds by my luggage scale. I am 6 foot with a 32 inch inseam. Unfortunately this bike is too small for me. There was not enough safe extension to make this fit. I did take it for a ride and the shifting was very nice. I would recommend this bike for any kid with less than a 30 inch inseam or less. It will get them out along trails and on road trips.
The Gravel Road Bike was the perfect gift for my husband! He's back to exercising and loving every ride. Smooth, sturdy, and stylish—great for all terrains. It truly motivated him to get active again. Highly recommend!
It's a decent bike. The controls can be a lil sticky. You will have to make sure all the screws and bolts are tight. You're not paying a lot for the bike and you're not getting a perfect bike. You're getting what you paid for, a basic bike.
I use curbside pick up to pick up this bike. As I got home, I realize the bike chain was rusted and the lettering was faded. Walmart, you should do better not putting bikes outside and having associates load up a rusted bikes in customers cars.
Bike came in box with noticeable damage and crankring/crankshaft was bent. I understand this is a clearance item, but it could have been maintained a little better or at least fixed in a way where there was no need for additional services.
item was stolen off my front porch before i could take reciept of it. I called customer support to notify them of the theft, and I was advised to wait forty-eight before I filed a police report and to call back. I followed their instructions and called back after I had filed the police report. i was told that since the bike was no longer available that theu would refund the money back to the Walmart gift card I purchased it from and when I received the email from Walmart I could send the police report to that email. I received an email the next business day stating that the item was delivered as scheduled and that they were not gonna refund my money and I needed to follow up with the financial institutionthat I used to purchase the bike. So I replied to the email and attached the police report expressing what I was told by the two representatives I spoke with. I also explained that I used their girft card to purchase the bike and warrenty and I ask that a manager call me and explain to me why their representatives told me one thing and then I recieved an email stating something completely different. as soon as I sent the email, I got an automatic reply saying that that email was unmonitored and that if I needed any further assistance that I needed to use the online chat feature to speak with someone. I am very dissatisfied with Walmarts customers' support at this time.
This is my second Kent bike. The first one was solid, lasted about 3 months until stolen at a Walmart while I was purchasing a lock for it (irony). The front wheel hub needed a servicing immediately due to no grease in so that was an automatic $50 at the bike shop. The second one was doing fine until the chain started jamming up. I diagnosed the problem as the rear wheel meeding a serving as well. Less than a mile away from home, the chain jammed up so bad that it ripped the rear derailleur off the frame, and into the spikes. In the process the frame was bent and behind repairable. For $150 bucks, it's a good biked but you get what you pay for.
The box was open when I arrived home. You can see a black piece from the assembly on the floor in The delivery photo. Upon assembly I realized the wheel was bent. I spun it and it just looks wobbly when spinning .
I just got my bike yesterday. Today was my second ride and as you see in the pictures, the assembly (tension) snapped in two. Things happens but not on day two I am really hoping for a replacement bike from the company.
