I like the chair my back doesn't hurt anymore.
This new style shower chair is so much more comfortable than the basic shower seat that dips up. The actual seat is thicker so it doesn't hurt your spine or the back bone above your butt. I was hesitant to buy it because I wasn't sure if it was safe. On the picture it doesn't show any side handles but they are there for you to hold on to the chair. The grips are on the sides slightly underneath the seat. I like the chair my back doesn't hurt anymore when showering and Im safe in the tub on one foot.

more comfortable than original
This is the third of these chairs that I have had. My first lasted for years and was only replaced because I moved and didn't take it with me. The second one collapsed on me in the shower after only 8 months of use. This one feels real solid and I hope it lasts as well as the first one.

Adjustable height and stability make s it useful for everyone in our home. we should have bought one years ago.

Pretty easy 2.put together. And very comfortable. Felt sturdy. I'm a larger woman and felt safe. Very pleased with it.

good value for the price
Chair assembled easily and all parts present, but it would not fit in our shower the way we needed. The chair claimed to be able to support 300 lbs, but I would not want to put that much weight on it. Ended up returning it.

Not as sturdy as we had hoped. Really afraid to trust it with a 185 lb female recovering from back surgery

So-so!
The seat was easy to put together. The seat is too wide to fit into the tub, so the seat was turned lenghtwise. Legs do not feel very stable, but it will do. There is something better, but I do not want to spend more $$
