As any craft roaster should, Airship goes right up to the line of "dark roast" without crossing it. This blend is stout and dark without being bitter and smoky. I enjoy this straight-up as a daily drinker, as well as over ice and with cream/syrup. It's excellent both ways.

Delicious coffee, though the size has been reduced from 1lb to 12 oz. Stop the shrinkflation.

The description of this coffee sounded exactly like what I was searching to find after my favorite coffee became unavailable. Sadly, this was a huge disappointment! If I could, I would give it a "0" rating. The beans were pale, dry, and had no aroma--my first clue. The coffee it made was weak, tasteless, and without aroma. I tried increasing the strength on the grinder to no avail. I'm throwing it out. A waste of money.

This coffee tastes like crap and it says darker roast but it's hardly roasted at all. I would call it a light roast coffee that tastes like stale crap. I attached a pic of their "darker roast" coffee. I guess the lighter roasts are probably still green.
