I bought the Ames 2917200 39" Steel Handled Landscape Border Edger. There is s picture of a mole trap associated with this description, which I did not buy. I like the edget because it is half round and serrated - just right for edging my tough Bermuda grass.
This is the best edger I have used so far. The blade and the teeth are very sharp. It still helps if the ground has been watered a bit. The price for the performance is very good. Highly recommend
Product was exactly as described on web site. Shipping was promised and delivered on the date promised.
Seems pretty well built. I like the serrated blade, which made cutting into the grass roots much easier. My only advice is to wet the area where you're planning to edge. The soft ground is much much easier to cut into.
Cuts well, strong, and a good height for me. Useful tool to have
I recommend. Very strudy and dug deep. I really like this tool.
So hard to find locally but Walmart's delivery service came to the rescue! I love this edger! It does a great job in cutting borders nicely and digging the borders edge to separate from the yard. It actually works better then an electric edger. So glad i got mine!
It does exactly what it is supposed to do. I was very leary of it, but was pleasantly surprised. It is very good to create a trench around flower beds, etc. But you must remember it isn't designed to go through heavy grass very easily.
Tough piece of equipment. I'm short and it's a little bit longer than absolutely comfortable, but still doable. Cuts through really well.
The tool is not quite as easy as others have reviewed but I didnt want another electric tool to edge my garden beds. You have to use it after a rain and can only edge thin slices of lawn so you cant let it go too long between edgings. However I will keep it because I only have about 20 feet to edge.
