Does a good job of opening the soil for moisture. A slow process but you can actually cover a reasonable area in an hour or so.
Great for a small yard or garden. Sturdy, easy to use, instructions simple ( "down, wiggle, up...down, wiggle, up").
This is made for me. All steel and welded connections. I discovered Yard Butler products when I bought their Hand Tiller. I'm impressed with the near indestructible construction. I can work in the yard without having to worry about abusing the tool. The Aerator works as advertised.
So far this seems to be an inexpensive way to aerate your lawn. Didn't need to do the entire lawn, just a few areas where the grass had become so thick. It would be tiring and time consuming if you had a large yard to use this tool, but it could still be done. Probably would be better to do in smaller increments due to a little strain on the back after using this for any length of time. Spring has just begun so I am hoping that this tool will really help in preventing runoff into the street. So far so good!
It is well made and easy to use..it doesn't have hollow tines so there's no dirt plugs to deal with.
It's a handy little aerator. Easy to use and store in garage. Looks like a quality item that can last for years.
does the job, but to expensive
Sturdy, well made tool. I don't think it will ever break. Its quite the workout for hands, arms and legs. No need to visit the gym when using this. Was wishing my lawn area was even smaller!
It's good for the strength of the prongs. I was a little surprised that the handle covers move around the base.
I purchased this to save $50/aeration service on my lawn. It was alright for me, but for other people, it may be too much of an exercise. It also took me 5 hours to finish the job. It was a good workout. (even for a guy who runs and lifts weights everyday, and also play soccer for 2 hours every week). I only recommend it for small lawns, and people who is in really good shape.
