Yard Butler Twist Tiller garden cultivator & hand tiller heavy duty garden claw hand tool - ITNT-4

Borrowed one of these from a friend to break up a thick stand of lawn to make a new garden.. it worked so well, that I had to order one for myself. I am a senior lady and it is so much easier than using a spading fork.. The tines also grasp the grass and weeds by the roots without taking soil with it. It is far sturdier than some others. It's a winner !!

I ordered this online for around $18 on sale. At that price I wasn't expecting anything too great. I just came inside from using this and I will say it performed beyond my expectations. It's solidly constructed and had no trouble tilling my landscape beds. Let me say, the area I tilled was filled with roots, years worth of compacted mulch, and not the greatest soil. It was in rough shape. I honestly didn't expect this simple tool to be able to turnover the soil like it did. Really impressive.

I really liked this. It beat paying hundreds of dollars for a gas powered filler when all we needed was a small garden. Works wonderfully for flower beds too.

This tool did exactly what I expected it to with comfort and efficiency. It's strong, durable and easy to use as long as your soil isn't like a rock. I have 2 torn rotator cuffs so using a hoe hurts. I was able to mix my soil conditioner in the soil painlessly in each place I wanted to plant a vegetable plant.

This is made for me. All steel and welded connections. I discovered Yard Butler products when I bought their Hand Tiller. I'm impressed with the near indestructible construction. I can work in the yard without having to worry about abusing the tool.

I needed a new tiller, and this one meets all expectations, very easy to use.

If you have a type of grass like I do, very invasive and hard to deal with, this works great to break it up and get it out of the garden. It takes a little sweat equity to do it, but compared to the old way, it's awesome. This tool makes life a lot easier!

I love this twist tiller. So easy to use and works great. Best used after it has rained so the ground is soft.

Well made, but clogs easily.

Steel would bend easily, acting like steel was not tempered properly to make it hard and stronger. Quality control needs to be monitored more closely. The older model of 20 years I have has the steel tempered correctly. The welds broke is why I bought a new one.
