Aroma® 20-Cup (Cooked) / 5Qt. Digital Rice & Grain Multicooker

I bought the Aroma Professional Plus Multi Rice Cooker ARC 5000SB in January 2024 an it is still working. But I wanted another 1 so while looking I found this 1 an it has a few more things that it can do that would make things easier in the kitchen for me so I got it an I am glad I did cause it works great for other things the 1 I already have doesn't do. I highly recommend you get this 1 while it is at below $60 cause it is a good investment.

I'm loving it, so far it's great. I just made eggs this morning and they were cooked perfect. I've also used the white rice feature which was fluffy. I will note the cooking time on the rice was slightly longer than a previous purchase (different brand. I'm looking forward to the risotto and slow cooker functions. I'm happy I chose a multi-functional product to replace my original rice cooker and the price made my selection easier after researching the price of the current single used cookers.

Price was in line with others available on the market and this one had several extra features so was better buy for the price. I have already used it to make boiled eggs and of course rice and very pleased with the results.

This cooker is amazing. I purchased it to cook my dogs food and to cook for the family. It handles the job perfectly. I got this as an upgrade from my old rice cooker. I love this

This is truly an all-in-one cook pot which can even bake a cake perfectly each and every time ! This cooker has exceeded my expectations not only as a rice cooker but also a slow cooker, steamer, Baker and soup cooker!

pros: easy to use. fast cooking. easy to clean. cons: the bottom pan gets scratched easily when cleaning. I used a scrub mommy but i wouldn't think it was that abrasivenegate most of the time I put it straight in the dishwasher. Aroma does sell their stainless steel insert pot for this model but you might have to buy it direct on their website. My concerns are health over what stuff might leach out of the cooking pot innate the appliance.

Too much water condensed on the lid after done cooking.

I'm amazed that this doesn't have a lid inside that is removable. It's going to be incredibly hard to clean it. It has a rubber seal and I can't see where the seal even comes out. I was so excited about it, but it's going to have to go back. My other rice cooker was a lot more money, but it had a removable pot and lid. It made cleaning very easy. I can't imagine how much rice starch you would collect on the lid of this thing. The top doesn't even come off to allow you to wash it in the sink like you would the lid to an instant pot.

It came defective and had a very strong smell gifted for my sis so she could cook for her little four kids. She took it to the store tried returning so she could replace it with another one. But they didn't even try to return it for her. Even tho she came with all her four little children and explained the situation. So upset and very very disappointed with the worst customer service ever! And products you sell and won't try to help.

WORST Customer Service; Almost, nonexistent. I have been phoning CS for the last three weeks with no answer or " The mailbox if full announcement. I have left messages several times, but no return phone call. it' a disgrace though. Shame on AROMA! Corporation!!!.
