Athletic Works High-Density Foam Roller, 18 in, Red/Black

This foam roller is 18 inches long by 6 inches wide. It is definitely dense and rolls easily. It helps stretch your muscles before and after workouts to keep them from cramping up as easy. The red and black is a cool pattern and it seems like it will hold up well even with consistent use. Also, the foam cells are closed so it shouldn't absorb sweat meaning that all you have to do is wipe it down periodically to keep it from smelling.

I go to physical therapy for back, neck and pelvic area, and I am so happy I got this amazing High Density Foam Roller, great to do my exercises at home, is very firm, comfortable and it doesn't get smashed down even when I put my full weight on in (220 lbs.) or crack. I get a lot muscle relief and back pain, the roller is light weight but very high quality and sturdy. I love the colors makes it very unique!

My day job requires me to sit at a desk all day, basically my entire back is tight and stressed. When I visit my local gym and have some extra time I do some foam rolling, my back feels pretty good once I do that. This particular foam roller is no different than the ones at gyms. Might be a little smaller but covers my entire back (I am 6'2) and is easy to store in my studio apartment. The quality seems good. No complaints!

I use this lightweight roller to lay across my lap, and roll it back and forth with my forearms engaging my core muscles from a sitting position on my couch. It's my solution to doing crunches, since I cant do them, they hurt my neck. This does give the muscles a good work out. You can also use it to massage your muscles. Great product and nearly weightless.

This Athletic Works High Density Foam Roller, Has been a life saver for me. I have had sciatic nerve pain for months now. Using this foam roller . Has made it so much easier to work through the pain and discomfort. I just roll on it a few times throughout my day. Doesn't take much time ,just a few minutes. It's convenient and easy to use. It can even be taken on the go. It's very sturdy and durable. So it will last you a long time.

This Athletic Works High-Density Foam Roller works so well for my lower back. The design is really fun and modern and adds a pop of color to it. The foam is very durable and even withstands my young kids playing with it. It's also very easy to keep clean and sanitized by simply wiping it clean with Lysol wipe. I would definitely recommend this foam roller to anyone looking for an easy and convenient way to stretch and massage your muscles. It's a really great addition to my home gym and gets a ton of use regularly!

This is a foam roller that I use to work out. It says high density so it is hard. It seems to me to be hard styrofoam. It is light so it is easy to store and move around. The color is black and purple. It is very nice looking. I use it to stretch the muscles in my legs before and after a workout. This is a great tool to incorporate in other parts of your workout as well. There is one at my gym so I wanted to add one to my home gym as well. I also use it for my feet. After a hard day at work. I roll my feet over it to relieve the muscle pain. I do recommend this. I use mine a lot.

Wasn't too sure about this high density foam roller at first. Once I figured out how to use this, I was able to do a few workouts. You can also come up with your own, because in the end you just want to be doing some kind of movement to call it a workout hehe. I've done one where you get like in a plank type form, but you have the roller under you and you try to roll your body over it using your upper arms. A little hard to explain but hopefully you get it. Doing it helps not just my upper body strength but gave my body a massage that helps with circulation through out. I also hold the foam roller between my two feet and bring it towards my chest. Which after a few minutes I can feel the burn. I am surprised at what I can do with a foam roller, cause at first I was like how is this going to help. Of course this also limits you to a certain degree, you may need other workout equipment for other types of exercises. This is also great because you can put it away in a closet, it doesn't take up much room. This isn't soft and cushiony it's a sturdy foam roller.

Wasn't sure how to use this at first so I watched a few videos to figure it out. You roll your muscles basically. I found it to be not very comfortable myself but my husband loves it. It's kind of a workout to use lol. I do however like using it on my calves and it does pop my back, which I love doing. It does seem to be good quality, lightweight, and the design is cute.
