Athletic Works Weight Lifting Flat Bench

This weight bench is the perfect size and very sturdy. Came well packaged. My husband and I are finishing up our exercise room, he is opening up box about to put it together and set it up in our new exercise room. this will be the perfect edition. Purchasing barbells, and other things to go with it. I will be purchasing another one for my son. My husband and I love it.

Very sturdy bench . I weigh 182 and this bench has never wobbled . It took about maybe 5 minutes to assemble tool supplied except Phillips screwdriver. Bought this when I broke my leg and ankle with a light weight set to do at home till I can return to the gym . Not disappointed.

Athletic Works Flat Weight Bench This Athletic Works Flat Weight Bench is exactly what we’ve been looking for and I’m pleased with it. Especially since 2020, we wanted to arrange an area for easy home workouts. My husband and I had already accumulated several dumbbells of varying weights, as well as a number of kettlebells — and we were learning body-weight exercises, too. We’ve been looking for a weight bench that allows us to do all different kinds of exercises without ever leaving the house. This one from Athletic Works fits perfectly with our home fitness goals. The Athletic Works bench weighs around 18 pounds when fully assembled and is fairly compact in size. The dimensions — in case this is helpful — are 42.5" length x 18" width x 19" height. This is nice because I can move it around myself and position it with no trouble, and yet it also feels well-made and sturdy — not rickety or unstable. The maximum weight capacity is 300 pounds, including the user. The frame is rust-resistant tubular steel (very strong and sturdy) and the foam padding is vinyl coated, so it’s easy to clean and wipe down after use. Of course, now that we’ve got the exercise area set up, I’m hoping to make a habit of USING it! That is, as everyone knows, the challenge in the end… to keep going and not lose that all-important momentum! I love that we can do so many different toning and core exercises on this one weight bench. I’m glad we got it and recommend this weight bench for home use.

This bench works perfect for me. All I'm doing is step UPS and dips and regular chest workouts. The only thing I don't feel comfortable on is if I try to do abs over the side it doesn't have that much weight on the bottom. Joe does feel a little scary

The quality seems good and the affordable price is the biggest reason why I bought this one instead of the others that were twice as much. I put it together by myself with no problems. Both my husband and I are able to lay on it on our backs with our knees bent and our feet on the end with no problem. The cover isn't the best quality, but hopefully it'll last a while. Didn't want to spend a lot on it because I was afraid my cats will claw it anyways.

Another great product from Athletic Works. It's a nice size and holds over 300 lb. This is Handy for even General weightlifting or bench pressing at home. It doesn't take up a lot of space but is a nice size for an extra room. I highly recommend the Athletic Works weights to go along. This would be a great gift for Christmas for somebody starting a New Year's resolution. I love that it's black with the metal legs. It's easy to put together and only took about a half an hour. The vinyl is a nice heavy Fabric and I'm sure it will last a long time

This weight bench is awesome! I workout at home and have always preferred to, so I look for top quality equipment for my home gym. Athletic Works is a great brand, and I'm very happy to own this product. I use it almost everyday as part of my workout routine!

I enjoy my flat bench because it doesn't take too much space in the bedroom and living room. It's really light to lift and carry. And it's really easy to assemble. Besides using it to do my dumbbell presses. I also enjoy using it to do my different types of stomach crunches. Especially “reverse” stomach crunches, which are my favorite. I highly recommend this weight bench.

So I'm around 200 pounds and 5'5" and even though the weight limit is 300 pounds I feel like it's narrow where it doesn't completely fit me when I lay on it to work out. Sitting wise, yes it's perfectly fine, kneeling on it, yes it's great too. Just don't like the feeling when I lay on it. It is pretty short as well as being barrow as well. So definitely not made for super tall people. Or even tall people in general. I do like the fact that it is light so easier to move when you need it and when you need to put it away. Also very easy to put together and took my husband about 5 minutes. I do like that it's cushioned well making it more comfortable when you're sitting or laying down. The price is great though. Which makes it a great buy if you're trying to stay in a budget but also get healthy as well.

I purchased the Athletic Works flat bench from online. Just opened the box. Multiple missing parts, including the actual legs that supports the bench and over half the threaded screws and washers. And no instructions were included, just a list of the items to assemble the bench. I will be returning and will purchase a different and better product from a local store. So disappointed!
