Aunt Nellie's Sliced Pickled Beets, 16 oz

I have been buying this brand of pickled beets for years. I can't even even remember how long. They are very tasty, they're a good complement to different meals. I just happen to love pickle beats, but this is the brand I buy, and I've been buying probably for over 15 years. I would definitely recommend if you like this type of food.

Aunt Nellie's Sliced Pickled Beets must be the best because they taste just like my grandmother used to make! They do not taste like vinegar, just beets with a slight sweet taste. I haven't purchased another one since I began housekeeping -- except for once when they were out of Aunt Nellie's. I tasted the other brand and promptly threw them away and waited until my favorites were back in stock!

I grew up eating my mother's picked beets! She passed away sometime ago. It wasn't until I returned to the U.S. (Retired Vet) that I discovered and TRIED these beets. I love beets, so it doesn't matter if they are sliced or whole, I eat these like they're a favorite snack. I don't have to have a meal 'on the side' to enjoy these beets. I also drink the juice! However, I did find out that I have to enjoy them in a more moderate manner. 🤭 Color changes 🤭 ~urn too~ made me implement consumption limits. But... I crave it... to eat a jar in a day.😋😇🤗

It was recommended to me a number of years ago that I eat more beets for digestion and gall bladder. I don't find beets in our stores very often and for some reasons the locally grown beets taste like eating dirt after they are cooked. After trying a number of brands, I've locked in on Aunt Nellies as a good flavor and texture. They keep well in their glass jars. Have been ordering the 8 packs lately and have only had one with a bad seal in the last several years.

i love AUNT NELLIE'S SLICED PICLKLED BEETS- they have been among my most favorite pickled foods for many years- they dress up a salad with their bright color, lend extra flavor to stews and add a tasty crunch on a sandwich- the juice tastes so good i often drink it or i use it to pickle boiled eggs- beets are highly rated as one of the most nutritious foods on earth- since they are fermented the shelf life is longer than other foods although they taste so good , i doubt that ever having to be a consideration ---beets are one of the healthiest food you can eat-

These pickled beets are sweet and pickly-delicious. I could eat them straight from the jar, they're so good. The texture and taste is exactly what you would expect from a good pickled beet. I always save the juice and make pickled beet eggs. My husband was one that never liked beets and said they tasted like "dirt", but I am happy to say, he now eats beets, but only the Aunt Nellie's brand. He eats his with a side of cottage cheese.

These redbeets are our absolute favorites ! Denise often makes redbeet eggs for us using these as an easy side dish or as an anytime snack. They're good for you, and the taste is excellent !! We always keep 2 or 3 spare jars on hand, too. It's a great pantry item.

I absolutely love these. They're a great sweet snack for me. I wish I could still get the "baby beets" though. The baby beets are a little bit better. But it honestly doesn't make a whole lot of difference. They are both delicious and a much better snack than many less healthy alternatives.

Good addition to salads. A jar yields about 6 servings. It's good for you, too. Watch the sugar content. Delicious and crunchy snack. The beets and juice will stain, so wipe spills immediately. The juice that clings to the beets helps cut down on salad dressing.

This is a good product, and I may have just gotten ahold of a jar that was missed when was checked and canned. The beets were hard to chew, and some still had some of the outer skin on them. I will try again, just to make sure it might have been a onetime thing.
