I have had ocean spray whole cranberry sauce for years. Not only for thanksgiving , but year around. They’re good with cottage cheese, and chicken pot pie. Almost anything. And Walmart still has the best price. Even though it’s gone up a little.
this is one of the best condiments on the shelf. The enzymes of the skin and the natural sweetness make whole cranberries a tasty treat. Try it with some low fat cottage cheese
Of course house made whole cranberry sauce provides a different, fresh cranberry taste, but few of us have time to make it from fresh whole cranberries. Ocean Spray, for multiple American generations consider its cranberry sauce a tradition, of which my family's preference has always been whole style cranberry sauce, as a staple for Turkey. I enjoy it with roasted pork in lieu of apple sauce, or other game birds. I have even had it with vennison, though not often. I even spread it in lieu of jams and other fruit preserves for sandwiches or toast.
This can of whole cranberry sauce is just as refreshing as your grandmother used to make for the holidays I always put my cans in the fridge as soon as I unpack my groceries so they are always ready when I need a delicious side dish for every type of meal. You don’t have to wait for a holiday to enjoy the tangy taste
This product used to contain whole cranberries. I bought three cans, and not one of them had whole cranberries. It is super runny and has little cranberry flavor. The only difference between this product and "jellied cranberry sauce" is that "jellied cranberry sauce" can be sliced. This can not. It should be called cranberry soup or cranberry water. Ocean Spray did not honor its "Whole Berry" packaging.
Very poor quality! This can of whole cranberry sauce is a liquid sauce with lots of berry skins and only 2 whole berries in the entire can. The flavor is also very disappointing; it seems they have increased the sugar content in an attempt to offset the terrible flavor and the runny texture. I will not purchase this product again.
i have been serving Ocean Spray Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce for 30 years. The quality was always consistent, until about 5-6 months ago. Now, the product is just stems. Since then, I have been making my own. Which isn't as convenient, but at least I am eating berries and not stems.
Should have been whole berry ocean spray it is not. Too bad sI bought 3 cans and thank God I opened one before Thanksgiving. They are a watery gel without any whole berries. The label says so but they are not. This is a product my family loves
I was incredibly disappointed that generic is better than Ocean Spray. There were No berries just a sauce. While it was flavorful I wanted the berries. It ruined my cranberry sauce that I make. Put the berries back in the whole berry sauce.
They have ruined this product. No whole cranberries and the consistency is soup. In the pic the can on the right was purchased this year. On the left was a can purchased last year. They raised the price and destroyed the quality.
