Excellent jar/store gravy: has bits of real turkey meat (supposedly) in it. Great over turkey, potatoes, stuffing, bread %26/or biscuits etc. Good breakfast item to put on eggs and stuffing or grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch. Nice item to have in the pantry in case a person wants to make a turkey pie.
When you don't have the time (or energy) to make gravy from scratch, this is honestly the next best thing. It's smooth, flavorful, and doesn't taste overly artificial like some jarred gravies can. Perfect over turkey, mashed potatoes, or even biscuits when you need a quick comfort-food fix. Heat, pour, and suddenly dinner feels a lot more put together. A solid shortcut to keep in the pantry.
The Heinz HomeStyle Turkey Gravy is my go‑to whenever I want a quick, delicious boost of flavor. It has a rich, savory taste and a smooth texture that pairs perfectly with turkey, chicken, mashed potatoes, stuffing — honestly anything. The 12 oz jar is the ideal size for family meals, and it heats up beautifully without separating. Consistent, comforting, and always reliable. A must‑have pantry staple.
I use this in many of my dishes. I cook meats in it after browning, use it over pasta. Slow your dishes. It enhances so much flavor to all my cooking. If I were to make one suggestion to Heinz is to get the less than 2% of wheat flour out of it and make it gluten free. That would be great. Then you could add that to the front labeling and really increase your users.
There isn't always time for homemade gravy and on nights like that it is great to have this Heinz homestyle turkey gravy on hand. It is rich and creamy and easy to heat up. I use the stove top but you can microwave. It is also good left over. I use this on nights when we have the rotisserie chicken for dinner. Great over potatoes or you can make a chicken sandwich and put the gravy on the bread! Quick and delicious.
I love to make myself a mini Thanksgiving dinner when ever I'm craving a holiday fix. This mixed with canned chicken over mashed potatoes with a side of cranberry sauce. Delicious.
Almost tastes as good as my homemade gravy. Great to have on hand for left over turkey and taters after Xmas. Because everyone knows we run out of gravy long before the turkey and taters run out. 😉
Your wife, can you cook? Then buy this gravy taste pretty good. All you gotta do is open it up and dump it out and warm it up if you like can't get much simpler than that I've tried some of the brands that are in a can sometimes they have a bitter taste to me. But this particular product I thought was pretty good.
This gravy was suppose to come with the Heinz gravy bottle as advertised for Thanksgiving! NEVER RECEIVED THE HEINZ GRAVY BOTTLE AS ADVERTISER STATED THROUGH WALMART! Because of the false advertisement I WILL NEVER SHOP ONLINE THROUGH WALMART.COM after receipt of my last order due to be delivered today!
Beware: This is a baby-sized 12 oz. container, like a can of pop (soda), not big enough for adults or a family. Is it sized for a child's play kitchen? It's deceptive, since it isn't even on the shelf in the store. Only the much larger, normal 23.75 to 32 oz size that most families would need for 3-4 people is available. Like many new tiny products designed on purpose to look like their larger sizes to trick online pickup shoppers. The price of 2.67 jars, almost 3, is higher than the 32 oz. It's strange these tiny, look-alike products didn't use to exist until very recently.
