Del Monte Canned Cut Golden Wax Beans, 14.5 oz Can

My son loves these beads and let me tell you they don't have any wax on them so I don't know why they call them wax beads, but I don't put them in his sandwiches no vinegar he has eaten them out of a jar before and he likes to have them with his pizza, crazy kid. He's going places though he's very smart.

I prefer wax beans over green beans. Del Monte is the only brand I can find that still carries them. I've never had any issues with any of the cans I've bought.

It's hard to find these and not every Walmart has them. They are absolutely fantastic in three bean salad!

I love canned yellow wax beans! They are always handy for a quick yellow vegetable at dinner and they are wonderful in our favorite, Easy Bean Salad. Want a salad you can prepare the day before and it is still fresh? I use three cans Walmart yellow wax beans, three cans Walmart green beans, all drained (save liquor for soup). Toss beans with one medium to large sweet onion sliced thinly, cover in sweetened vinegar dressing, and chill overnight. It is a winner!

A must for a 3 or 4 bean salad.

I honestly thought that Wax Beans were extinct. I, nor my wife could find them anywhere. Then while we were shopping at Walmart, I was going down the veggie aisle as usual, all the while hoping that there might be a "Can" of wax beans. To my complete surprise I was flabbergasted to see several cans of wax beans on their shelves. Thank you, Thank you, you have no idea how much I've missed this vegetable.

Delicious. very difficult to find these anywhere.

I used the cans in a 3 bean salad recipe. They added texture and color to it.

The product itself is fantastic! However, the cans that I got were severely dented. I would think that a certain amount of care would be required when filling a customer's order.
