Aurora 8-Sheet Strip-cut Paper Shredder, CD Destroyer, without Basket

so functionally speaking, hands down the best paper shredder ice owned. it does say 8 pages, though I feel that doing so you're just dropping her lifeline min by min. she does take and shred 8 pages at a time, it just looks/sounds tougher than it should y . I keep my maximum papers at a max of 4 not that she isn't able to function at that level, I just feel for me personally, I'd rather not risk loosing time off her life just to save literally a ¼ of a second. I usually stick with 2 pages she shreds like a stang, 2 is all you need to get the job done fast. I love the "rewind" function, has come in handy a few times when the paper was headed in diagonally. backs right out with no hesitation . so EASY to operate, literally plug her in and slide the button to the "on" position. needless to say, I recommend any small Business owner or accountant, office line of work, even just to shred up your personal mail before your trash guy gets it. I use it to shred up my packaging confetti paper for my online buisness'. it's perfect and gets the job done so fast! I have just ONE single complaint, it didn't come with a bucket!? I've purchased 3 now online and all 3 are incompatible. Maybe I hit the wrong purchase option? who knows 5 stars from me she's a beast! lightning speed!

This is my second one-1st one I bought several years ago I believe on Amazon (significantly cheaper-but everything has gone up) good ,very dependable product. I got a second one because it wasn't cutting up my credit cards… so I figured it was getting dull after a couple years and needed a new one. The new one can't cut them up either!!! I did some research-there are several higher end credit cards that are made of metal. The recommendation was to send it back to the company or invest in heavy duty, cutting tools wearing protective eyewear, etc.. It's a great shredder, but it is not meant for credit cards!!!

Ordered the shredder to replace an older model. This sits on my old basket well and does a great job. Even shreds old charge cards great. It does a great job.

Inexpensive...i didn't want to spend a lot for something I use monthly. I don't shred Everything only financial documents. Other mail goes in the recycle and I have a fireplace so primarily need a shredder for the warm months. The price was right for my low-use needs. Inconspicuous...I like that I can keep it under my desk in the box instead of out in the office collecting dust. You can place it over most sturdy wastebaskets and shred into a liner then dispose in your recycle bin. Flexible... I wanted a strip shredder instead of a fine confetti shredder to use alternatively as gift bag filler. I read some people use the strips for crafts and quilling. If space is not an issue and you shred every day it wouldn't be as convenient. But for me it is exactly what I was looking for at a perfect price point.

This is a super great deal for personal use. The adjustment slide is a plus if you want to use a larger trash container (which I did). Just drop in a trash bag in whatever size waste container you decide to use and start shredding documents with personal information that can be used fraudulently. Great little machine.

So far this shredder has worked great and saved so much time from a smaller one that I had. It takes full sheets. So easy to use. I wish I would have bought this sooner to save even more time.

Small but tough, This shredder just keeps on destroying cd's, dvd's and credit card's. It will shred 8 to 10 pieces of paper at a time, like the ad says. No problem so far.

Really like it just suggest the on button feels a little unstable. Otherwise a great product.

Very good, but doesn't fit every wastebasket. Shreds very well, especially useful for 12-pack soda can holders. Seems to be able to handle anything I throw at it (figuratively).

Fits over the collection bin of my old shredder. Works flawlessly. Have had no problem with it.
