Aurora GB AU820MA 8-Sheet High Security Micro-Cut Paper/CD/Credit Card Shredder

Had this shredder for 2 weeks now. This shredder works very well. Has good safety feature. I love that it shreds 8 sheets and can take staples. . Worth every dollar I spent buying it. The only complaint is, it's a little noisy , noisier that my previous shredder.

As long as you follow the directions %26 maintain the maintenance, it works as it should. It is also quieter than its predecessor, should last at least a good 10 years easy.

Was looking for a micro cut shredder and this fits. Handles everything I need it to do. Would recommend for the average home user. Was a good price as well.

My son almost never empties an envelope. Credit cards, staples, no problem! Upper unit feels heavy enough to last.

Works as advertised. I like the window one can look through and determine when the bin is nearly full. Quiet for a shredder. I typically place 3 to 4 sheets in at a time and all are mulched just fine.

This is a great shredder! It shreds the paper so small that it would be next to impossible to read any of it. It Boggs down a little when several sheets of paper are put through it but stills shreds it all with no problem. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to protect their secure papers from the bad guys.

I read a score of reviews of another dozen shredders before choosing this one, and the research paid off. Shreds paper into tiny confetti-sized bits, grinds nicely through credit cards. Interesting interlock on top - a hinged 'flap' of sorts that must be properly 'opened' - aligned - for the shredder to run (I accidentally rapped & misaligned it and stopped the machine - only found the 'flap' info solution in the surprisingly included excellent instruction booklet!).

You get what you pay for. That's right, looks inexpensive, small, worry some when you read instructions that you have to shot of the machine but also unplug, who does that - unplug it after each use! That right there makes it unsafe! The reason I recommend it is because it does the job, and if you are on a budget you probably can still afford it but, it comes with plenty of precautions.
