Wonderful product but I would not have purchased it had it not been on sale!
Excellent quality device. Everything is as advertised, simple to use plug and play on I phone.
well, its perfect!!!!!! its worth every penny!
i bought 2 and 1 didnt work. but i like to play with this on my phone but u ha w to pay for the backbone app
I got this for my Xbox games …. Call me dumb, but I thought I would be able to play absolutely any game I have downloaded to my Xbox, with the backbone. Instead, all it is; is essentially just a controller that hooks to your phone so you can play only “specific” games that you have downloaded, “that are controller accessible”. COD, Fornite, Rocket League, Stardew Valley, Forza, 2K (NBA), etc … Xbox version of 2K however, does not work with backbone, instead they make u play the App Store aka Mobile version of the game %26 not the Xbox version (if that makes sense) - therefore you won't have any saved data whatsoever from your xbox account to the mobile account … It will be 2 completely different account. For the most part, everything works just fine. Every game I have I can use this controller on, but if I would've did more research %26 saw it was essentially LITERALLY JUST a controller, and that EVERYTHING else is basically operated based off the Xbox Cloud gaming app, I'm pretty positive I would've never spent the $100 on this, %26 would've continued to bluetooth my xbox controller to my phone, and play the exact same games, the exact same way. Not to mention, I'm being forced to pay for the yearly subscription, just to be able to use the controller to play Fortnite or any other game. It wasn't until I opted into the free trial, that I was able to even use the controller to play absolutely anything. subscription is not super expensive, but again… if I would've did my proper research and found this out beforehand, I 100000% would've never wasted my money on this. Bc I feel that's exactly what I did… wasted my money. But it's alright … I guess. I didn't do my OWN full research like I always do… so it's my own fault for spending the money.
i ordered device for android and the one delivered was for Iphone. This wasnt discovered until it opened Christmas Day. It's useless until I go stand in the annoying customer service line. My irritation level is so high….
Controller went out after 1 month of ownership kept it in the box only right side works left side went completely out looked it up come to find out I wasn't the only one to experience this
don't buy this overpriced piece of junk! the ribbon cable in the back is known to break. and getting a protection plan or having a warranty through the manufacturer doesn't do you much good. they just offer a refund they refuse to replace or fix. I bought mine on sale so when I get the refund it's not enough to cover to replace it. I basically bought a protection plan for them to refund me through the manufacturer's warranty. so don't buy the protection plan it means jack. just a scam out of your money
there are plenty of controller addons that can simply be recognized by your phone and used. this does not. you have to have the app, and then you have to pay for the app if you ever want it to shut up about buying it, and then you have to keep minimizing the app when you want to use xbox cloud gaming from your browser bc it keeps trying to push you on the xbox app through app in app some such rather and it has not been what you use ever. but after all that when you push the buttons after promising the website you have a controller, it finally realizes you do....kinda.
You have to pay for every single service for every single thing and after you sign up for it, it didn't work and it's so frustrating. I wish I didn't buy it.
