BalanceFrom Rubber Encased Hex Dumbbells, 45 lbs Pair

They have a pretty strong smell when you unpackage them. I wiped them down to get the packing oil off them and then let them air out for a few days. All in all, they work as they should, the grip is comfortable and the rubber protects everything (including myself) from impact. I've had them for a month now and the smell is either gone, or I'm used to it. I'd buy them again, well worth it.

everything about this purchase was great, mainly because these dumbbells have been hard to find %26 the prices have been astronomical ever since covid hit so these prices are hard to beat. thank god for the payment plans that are offered through walmart one pay or klarna!

great set of dumbbells. As advertised and amazing deal when walmart has them on sale. I felt bad for the delivery guy, but the box held up great during shipping. The dumbbells fit perfectly on our rack, making them easy to use and are well constructed.

I purchased this set with the 550lb large set of dumbbells. These are pretty decent for the price. The weights are not to a calibrated weight so if you was looking for dumbbells with the exact weight less /- 1lb these are not the DBs for you. When I received mine I ended up receiving 3 individual 35lb dbs and 1 40 lb db. I had to call in a return because unlike these review the items were not individual. So put in the return, All items were individually packed, so I returned the extra 35 lb dumbbell after talking with the customer service rep. I sent the item back and I was told I would receive a replacement with a couple days. Well a couple days passed I didn't receive anything. Call Monday the next week, I was given the run around and was told he would look into it. No change again, I think a one point I chatted with someone through their help chats system, not sure how i might have done that. By this time is was the holidays so I wait until that was over called again, was told they were going to elevate the ticket. Its been nearly 4 full weeks since my original return was processed by this time. So I go over everything again, and I see the working on the return "Pair". Got to thinking how am i supposed to return a pair when that is what I was missing. So I decided to, with my own money $40, send the 40lb db back to the same place the first dumbbell. Well there it goes I get an email saying the return has now been received. So now its been a week since they have received both dumbbells and 35lb dumbbell and a 40 lb dumbbell and its new item has not shipped yet. By this time and the money I spend to ship the 40 lb dumbbell I could have just ordered 40lb dumbbell set and been dome with it. I don't know yet, I haven't received my return yet.

I ordered a bulk 5-50 lb set on 6/18 and received everything on the 20th but never received my 45s and 40s. I called customer service and they processed a replacement 45 lb set. I received only one 45 lb dumbbell days later NOT in a box but loose and damaged. A couple of days later I received the second one and this one was also loose and damaged. I called customer service again and they said I had to ship the dumbbells back to them in a Box in order for them to process another replacement… what nerve!!! So I did. I shipped it the same day and they received my boxed shipment on the 24th. I’ve called twice and continue to get the “scripted” run around. Today is the 30th and they have yet to ship my dumbbells. I decided to cancel the replacement request and receive a “partial” refund. Oh yeah, the 40s came and you can see from my pictures how they shipped them. Now, my 5-50 set is officially incomplete! Thanks Walmart!!!

They only weigh 26 lbs. I already have a set of 25 lb dumbbells so these are useless for me. I needed to increase the weight 5 lbs not 1 lb from my 25 lb dumbells. I even weighed both the 25 and new 30 lb dumbells to make sure that the problem was not my scale and the 30 lb are about 1 lb more than the 25 that I already have. They are too large for the amount of weight. The same size as a typical 40-50 lb dumbbell.

The package arrive and one piece of the stand arrived broken. The instructions that came with the package said there was a 60 day warranty and to not return the item to the store, but to email their support. We emailed their support but they said we had to go through Walmart. I don't want to take hundreds of pounds of weights to the store. I just want them to send us a replacement part per the warranty and instructions that came with the package.

these things are so toxic I could smell it before I brought it in the house and before I opened the box I'm not kidding unbelievable toxic what you save on money you pay with your health I guess and best in real iron never rubber now I have to Go through the hassle of returning these

The pieces I did receive were great although they have a horrible smell to them. My biggest issue is that I never received the 20 and 25lb sets. The box is clearly sized and shaped to only hold the 5, 10, and 15 lb weights, and the picture on the box only shows three of the 5 shown in the set. In order to get the full set, I had to do a complete return which means I have to re-box the set and wait for a FedEx pick up before I can try again with a different set.

Thought I got a bargain- a pair of 30%23 dbs for less than a dollar a pound. Nope! The rubber coating has an amazingly offensive petroleum smell. Even after scrubbing them down twice and keeping them in the sun to off- gas has not helped. Very disappointed.
