Ball FreshTECH Electric Water Bath Canner and Multi-Cooker

I have a glass top stove, which is not recommended for water bath canning ( even though I did it twice with no problems) so I ordered this. I've only used it twice so far, but it works great! It frees up space on the stove, and it fits 7 quarts, or 8 pints at a time! Much better than only being able to fit 4 quarts in a stock pot. Gonna be stocking the pantry with goodies!

I'm fairly new to canning, started out using an old hand-me-down canner that took up a good part of my stove. It was a major operation to get everything to fit on my stove top. But then I discovered this Ball Electric Water Bath Canner. Read the reviews and had to have it! What a great purchase! Love the spout to drain the water, the glass lid is great to view what's going on, the diffuser is a nice feature that controls splashing when on canning mode, and the water heats up super fast. The best part is that my stove top is free. Thank you Walmart for having it at such a great price!!

Not only does this canner keep my stove free and save me from the extra heat in the kitchen, but it cooks soup and steams veggies perfectly. The spout is handy for draining and also for adding hot water to a bowl for the lids just I'm ready for it. It stores nicely and cleans easily. I'm very happy.

Loving it! I leave it next to the sink so I can heat up those canning jars whenever I like. Since it is canning season, that is pretty often. Didn't have enough eyes on the stove to blanche the food , heat the jars, heat the seals, and get the pressure canner or water bath canner all going at the same time. Now I can easily heat the jars And it is not necessary to shift the heavy hot pot full of jars and water. Water heats quickly and the spout is so convenient.

I do not like the spout too drain. You have to wait until it has completely cooled in order to reach in and remove the plug for the spout.

This was easy to use. I put off canning until I found this instead of a pressure cooker that I was scared to use on my glass top stove.

I like that it removes from the heat. Was smaller than I expected, but it does the job.

Did not receive the Fresh Tech one, sent to us was the Easy Canner again third time. And this one is going back as well. It does not seat correctly in the base which causes it to error out at any given moment have to stand and watch it at all times and restart every time, will not go into processing once the process bar is full. In all total the cost way exceeds the value. It's too bad I was looking to free up space on the stove. Do not recommend this product.

The picture depicts the version of this product that was discontinued in 2024 (but may still be available in some sources). The product delivered is the "easycanner" version (newer version which has the digital front). That version is also for sale at Walmart (and elsewhere) at a significant price difference to the version depicted in this picture and offered in this catalog listing. So, value takes a big hit as it is a bait and switch tactic for a product also sold by Walmart for much less money.
