Not sturdy/durable for canning more than once!
This is much too cheaply made to be used for canning. I used it one time to water bath canned apple pie filling and it bubbled up and rusted on the inside?!? No idea how or why this would happen but I'm returning as I just bought and used it yesterday/one time. Spend a little more and buy something more sturdy and durable, otherwise you will end up very disappointed.

Loved getting it for Christmas BUT
I noticed a section on the inside of the water-bath canner where a section of the enamel is gone. There is another chip forming right above. Looking into the safety of the product now. I am concerned more will just keep coming off. The little white spot is where the enamel is missing.

Defective
Item came defective, on the top of pot and bottom, the granite was scraped off and metal was very sharp in a few spots. If this product wasn't defective it would have been perfect.

Dangerous! Broke at 4 Uses
4 uses in, I hear a loud noise from the kitchen. I thought a jar broke inside. When the time was up, I was surprised to find no jars broken. Imagine my surprise to find the bottom of the canner concave. Insane. It could have split and burnt someone severely. Do not buy.

Rusting after two uses
I've literally used this twice. The rack that comes with the pot has already started to rust. It's ridiculous.

damaged
arrived very damaged and when my daughter took it in to Walmart they would not refund to my account. Anyway I will not be sending anymore gifts through Walmart, They would not do an exchange and the ones they had were damaged as well. All and all very poor costumer service

Not as good as they used to be. Chipped enamel.
I would have rated higher but there is an enamel chip about an inch long in the bottom inside edge right out of the box. I only purchased because it's made in USA. But the quality is not top notch. If the pot was protected from the rack moving around inside during shipping his probably wouldn't happen. I saw the chip after the lengthy process of getting the label scrubbed off my new pot. Disappointed!

Gambled and lost
I read the reviews (5-star and 1-star) on this set of products and almost didn't order it because of the number of complaints about it arriving damaged and not packed in something protective. I ordered anyway. There's a big dent on the outside that goes through to the inside - along with peeling paint, and now I need to send it back. Just pay more for a seller you trust.
