delicious, not too spicy; would like safer package
These are not too spicy at all - comparable to the heat level in doritos, so truly pretty mild. The nuts themselves are delicious. I like that they're not crazy salty. The powder does get all over your hands, so they're quite messy. Reviews that knock a product for not liking the shopper's substitution are silly and unhelpful - leave that info in your shopper review, not here! One note: none of the Better Goods nuts are safety sealed, which really bothers me. Usually, with other brands, if nuts come in a plastic tub like this, there's a piece of plastic sealing the tub, with a perforation that you tear open when you initially open the package. These have no such seal, making them a target for tampering. For that reason, I won't buy again. But they're delicious and reasonably priced, so if Walmart changes the packaging, they'll make it on my regular grocery list!

Pistachios aren't the same as chocolate almonds
Hatch chile roasted pistachios is NOT an acceptable substitute for dark chocolate almonds. The pistachios are hot and spicy. Dark chocolate almonds are sweet. It would be better to substitute dark almonds with milk chocolate almonds or simply state that the dark chocolate almonds are not available.
