I was suprized I like this. It does taste a bit like ketchup but the flavor is more complex. Has a vinegar note as well as tomato. It was not overwhelming for which I was very thankful. I love it on fries and meatloaf.
My son was born in Canada and has always loved ketchup potato chips. They are impossible to find in the US, so we use this seasoning to make our own. He just does a bowlful at a time and it works really well.
I never heard of this item before, but I use Ketchup and taught I would try it. I love to use it on my eggs, and other dishes. I sometimes use it because it's easy.
I bought this specifically to mix into my meatloaf. It gives a deeper flavor without overusing regular ketchup. My family loved it. I can't wait to try it on burgers and fries.
I love the flavor but once you open the bottle by the next day the seasoning becomes hard this has happened twice.
This arrived near the expiration date with a clearance sticker on it. The lid was cracked open, broken, no seal for freshness. When I tried a little bit it was like a gross tangy powder. If you love ketchup chips like you find in Canada you'll probably like this a ton. Quality wise this was not a good buy.
I got this to have something a little different in the spice rack. Unfortunately the contents were ROCK HARD and unusable. I used a butter knife to loosen as much as I could but the knife would not penetrate more than 1/2 inch into it. I was able to do a taste test with what did come out and it was very good. Overall I don't recommend this due to the quality.
I bought this to sprinkle on potato chips, to make ketchup chips, but flavor was not that great. I returned it. Maybe used for something else, it might be better?
this seasoning came in delivery order with the lid completely destroyed and the seasoning inside was a compliment block, I couldn't even break it up with a spoon.
This came in a regular spice container with a shaker top but it came as hard as a brick! I cant even use it. Usually Walmart refunds food items without me having to return it but this time they want it back. So they send me a product that is inedible/unusable and they want me to return it to get my 3 bucks back? I dont think so.
