I got these for my mother who loves figs and to add on to my charcuterie board too. They're good, they're not all juicy like certain dried fruits can be like an apricot or even dried plums. They're a tad bit drier but the flavor is pretty good. They taste like a Fig Newton basically. These do add a good sweetness to the board and are perfect to pair up with savory foods. We didn't eat them all but they'll definitely be used in cooking. I did get these shipped to me and they came in good condition too.
These figs are good. My complaint is that they are pricey. I wanted them for snacks that were high in iron and fiber. They are clean and delicious, but the price is a bit high for my budget.
figs are hard to find in store, bettergoods has them and they are organic, good price, great fig taste, perfect snack or mini desert. Glad I found these, bought several package and i plan to keep some on hand
These sun-dried organic figs from Turkey are So Delicious!! The first time I tried them I bought them from a Walmart not near me and fell in love with them almost ate the whole container! When I wanted more I went to my local Walmart they didn’t have them and I went to 2 other Walmarts and they didn’t have them so I ended up ordering them through the Walmart app. Best naturally dried figs with its own natural sugars great when wanting 0 added sugars in my diet.
I am taking them instead of magnesium glycinate….and they are delicious…it’s like eating a fig newton cookie…yummy
I first starting buying the Betterfoods ORGANIC sun-dried Figs about a year ago and love the delicious bits of heavenly fruit. The consistency is always there. These are not the figs that have a prune or date texture but actually like fruit leather that once bitten into contain a seeded (excellent parasite detox fruit w/seeds) inner texture. If you have never had an actual fig but only a fig newton cookie, you are missing out. $6.47 for 14-17 dried figs is expensive. I would prefer a price around $2.50-$3.00 for each container but we all know the current state of governmental greed. They are usually in stock and only one time back in March '26 were they not available for 3 weeks. I usually buy 4-6 containers each order. I believe the reason they couldn't get them in was due to the conflicts overseas %26 shipping issues. I am back to my usual order though. Would be awesome if we got a free package of figs ever 6-10 orders like a coffee drink stampcard, but we don't always get what we want, do we? Anyway, I don't add these to those meat boards like a charcuterie boards but eat them as a snack in replacement of sugary, and high proccessed food. These figs would add alot to your next gathering as a healthy alternative of nature's fiber. Added note: Figs were some of Jesus' favorite fruits😁. Would I buy again? Absolutely.
Yummy, but package has no seal and often underweight. It's advertised as 8oz and the package I got today was 5.8oz including the packaging. There are better dried fig options than this.
I recommend buying these in the store, for snacking and for baking. There are not wet and they do not spoil quickly if stored outside the fridge. I don't recommend buying these online, they just didn't ship very well. The packaging came open and figs were everywhere. Thank you, Walmart for the refund.
I ordered these for our huge Last Supper Event and my volunteer not knowing what to look for put them out for everyone to get. A whole package and some of this one was eaten before I noticed they had mold all over them and were out of date. I ordered them in April and they went out in December. Walmart gave me them way over best by date. Some people ended up getting sick which made it worse. This same order I was given two very dried and dead basil plants that I did get a refund on. Every order I have made this year has had something wrong. Probably going back to Brookshires even though they are more inexpensive but at least I know I always get the best.
I love figs, but these “dried” figs were just that; DRIED/DRY. They were like little leather balls with a tiny amount of fig filling. Perhaps a sport could be developed to utilize these in a better way ;)
