Cleaned well. Nice heavy duty machine. But why doesn't this come with (or even have available for purchase) a storage mat? Water drips out of the bottom after emptying the tubs and could ruin the flooring wherever it is stored. I bought a silicone under the sink mat to store it on which seems to work, but every other brand of carpet cleaner that I looked at came with a storage mat to protect from drips.

Very happy about my carpet cleaner, I was expecting to see dirty water after first run of my carpets, but certainly did not expect waste water to be so dirty! Easy to use, would recommend to anyone with carpets that need to be maintained. No reason to pay for rental, and go through pickups and returns, while you can have such product in your house. After 4-5 cleanup sessions, cost of the product equals how much you would spent on renting. After that its all „free” cleaning, just buy detergent and sky is the limit.

I was skeptical about using this on our carpets vs professional cleaners. Hands down, this machine is outstanding value for the money, at even twice the price. We did our upholstery, carpets and they are like new. I no longer sneeze from dust on the couches or on the carpet.The machine is a bit on the heavy, side - but not objectively so. Remember, weight is an asset for deep cleaning The machine is amazingly maneuverable regardless. It does not soak the carpets or upholstery. They really engineered this well. Folding handle, water tank(s) are easy to refill and clean, as is the roller system. Parts are very easy to order and replace - if necessary. I can't speak for the durability as we haven't had the machine for a long enough time. However, working with this machine, I can't imagine it not giving good service for a number of years.

This is the way to go if you have really dirty carpet, like mine was. It was covered with black diesel exhaust smoke from a front loader/backhoe that my neighbor was using close to my living room window which was running a swamp cooler. The cooler sucked the exhaust in and turned my cream colored carpet black and oily. A regular carpet shampooer wasn't doing much to clean it, but the Bissell Big Green Machine has done a much better and faster job.

I've never been impressed with the rental units you get at the big box stores. I've had much better luck with smaller home carpet cleaners... except in the durability department. Some of them work great, but then die in a year. I finally ponied up for the Big Green and am extremely impressed with how well it cleans carpet in ONE pass. I had a cat mess pressed into the fibers of a carpet in the garage. I used this as a test: just used hot water and soap in the Big Green. First pull - it's noticeably better. Second pull - it's gone. I couldn't believe it, this would've required lot's of hand-brush scrubbing. The rotating brush is also designed to not clog up with hair, it spits them out as a fur balls. Very impressed, and I have a lot of experience with these types of machines. It has to be the best one I've used yet.

The last time I had my carpets cleaned, I paid to have it professionally done. To say the least, I was disappointed. I first used the Big Green Machine at work and was very impressed. I decided I could do better than the professionals, so I bought the Big Green Machine. It did an amazing job cleaning my carpets. I even used the hand tool for the steps. I would highly recommend this product to everyone.

This is the best carpet/upholstery cleaner ever! It has great extraction, suction, and drying capabilities. Also, it is easy to maneuver and appears very durable. I am very pleased with my purchase. Thank you, Bissell!

This is my second one, we lost one in a move. I love how it cleans and having it available to clean my carpets, or even and area rug, when it needs it.

We moved out of an apartment and into a home that use to have pets in it. Both needed cleaning pretty bad when I we moved. The machine got the job done well. I'm confident we'll be using it for many years to come.

I read lots of reviews. The unmatched suction, large tanks and dryer carpet sold me on this one. I will say that the reports were right. This brought neglected old carpet back to life. So nice to have fluffy carpet back again.
