BISSELL PowerForce Helix Bagless Vacuum

I recently discovered that my indoor cat had fleas and I was in the vacuum twice a day mode when my big beast of one died on me. I bought this due to needing one that was cheap and quick. I honestly probably would have gone with something else had I had more time to research and wait for shipping. I am happy I went with this one. I had a bag vacuum that was super heavy and noisy and this is such a nice transition. I love the canister. I was shocked that after using the old one twice a day for a week that the first use with this one almost filled the canister with hair and dust and dirt. How was there still that much in my carpets? I like how light it is and that it is still strong. I have even been able to see a live flea or two inside the canister after use, so I am sold. I like how I can empty it quickly. I have not yet attempted to clean the filter, but I am hoping that this thing keeps up its power. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment that is 99% carpet with two cats and two toddlers. I think that qualifies as a good test subject!

I ordered this vacuum on line and it arrived very quickly. I was hoping that all the hype on this was accurate. To my joy is was. I first tried a carpet I thought I may have to toss out and replace. I was so pleased when vacuumed it, the carpet look like the day I bought it. Very happy camper here! We have a great dane and 2 cats and a 14 yr old son. Messy as you can imagine. Vacuum worked great on floors and carpets of differing heights. I highly recommend this Bissell Vacuum. I am 100% pleased with it. Very light which is a plus since I have arthritis and I can maneuver it easily around and carry up stairs with no trouble. This is one vacuum that holds to it's word which is hard to find these days!

This vacuum has a lot of power, gives deep cleaning. I thught I would have to pay more for such power, could not be happier. Thanks!

I just got a kitten and figured it was time to get a little better vacuum to keep my apartment clean. I did site to store pick up which I LOVE. Got this thing home and it was easy to assemble. Started it up and oh my goodness - I was both impressed and disgusted with how much this vacuum picked up! This vacuum is clearly much better than my previous one, because it pulled stuff out of my carpet that I never would have dreamed was there. I especially thought this was great, because when shopping for vacuums, I noticed that comparatively speaking this was not an expensive investment at all. Only time will tell if it keeps up the impressive amount of suction - but at this price point, even if it needed replaced once a year... that would be no problem. I love the cord length and the coral color - I appreciate the little details of customization beyond the grays, reds and blacks of other vacuum colors. All in all it was a wonderful decision and I am more than happy that I bought it, and has already earned every penny of its price and I've only had it a month.

I got this to replace my old vacuum that died. I have 3 children, 3 dogs,a cat and a husband so I need a vacuum that really cleans. This one is fabulous. The only thing I don't like about it is the cord is a little short for my liking. I have to change plugs a lot. But the suction is great! Cleans up all the animal hair!

I purchased as a gift for my sister who has a cat. She now vacuums everyday as it is so light and great suction. Even the attachments are easy to use and also have great suction for small areas like the door frames and heat registers. Works equally well on area rugs as hardwood floors. Excellent value for the dollar. I had it shipped from Walmart online and got it with 48 hrs. Can't beat the service and price.

I read some of the reviews of this vacuum and decided to try out it for myself. Out of the box it was really light and easy to put together. I plugged it in and it was a bit quieter that my previous, which is a plus. The suction was pretty good, I was impressed. I had to empty the canister a couple times before I was done with one room. Don't let the size of it fool you! I would recommend if you don't want to spend a fortune on a vacuum that does a good job!

I had a dirt devil and got rid of it. No where close to my new Bissell. It does the job with only going over the carpet just once, not back and forth and still no difference. Its light and smooth to maneuver. A huge difference. Also it is so easy to empty the dirt in a jiffy. I recommend this product .and most satisfied overall.

That's right it sucks, it pick up stuff I did not see , from throw rugs to hard wood floors and wow did it ever . its built ok , and for the 50 bucks I paid for this I got a great deal , What we all have to remember its the luck of the draw when you buy anything.,I seen some bad reviews and good reviews on this vac, but mine worked just fine , and comes with 2 years warranty , so I got a good deal ,,,,only 4 stars why you asked , the hose is not a good reach ,so if you have a hose from a diff. vac keep to use to make this hose longer.

This review is more for walmart than this vacuum. Delivered late and some parts were missing. Walmart does this time and again... they send you items returned by other buyers without any quality check being done on it before selling. As to the vacuum, I think the hinges / locking at the bottom needs some design modifications. The body is cheap plastic and will break even if you accidentally drop it or bump into something. Definitely going to return it.
