I donated the 8-year-old Upright Dirt Devil and got this amazingly more useful hand-held Dirt Devil! It cleans like a cyclone. It's my new toy!

It's very powerful. I'll never worry about the battery dying or going bad.

As my teenage daughter is asked to straighten her bathroom after using, the Scorpion has been an asset. Every morning before school she vacuums the hair around the sink area and/or floor. We purchased a cordless vacuum, but the Scorpion, because it is corded, is MUCH MORE POWERFUL!!! It has made cleaning up much easier and more efficient. She no longer dreads vacuuming. When she is done her bathroom looks more inviting. I HIGHLY recommend the Scorpion!!! The cord length is fabulous, awesome power and the crevice device and additional tools are a bonus. Thank you for the Walmart customers who wrote reviews. That is the MAIN reason I brought the Scorpion. VERY HAPPY!!!!

I purchased this because I'm familiar with Dirt Devil. I had my last one for 10 years. So, I got this one. I did misread it. I thought it was cordless and it's not :). But it still works great. Gets all the gritties on the floor . Great suction. With the cord you can still have great length to get an area. Arrived in excellent condition. Plus it was fast shipping. Yay! Would recommend! Thanks Walmart!

This little guy is a workhorse. It gets in those places that we just don't want to get the bigger vacuum out for. Now I even clean places that I could not reach with my stand up vacuum. And this is just as powerful as its up right big brother. The only thing I do not like is cleaning up the filter and the sock that is on it. That can be messy. Comes with a nice hose to.

I had an older model that we used only in the house.Decided to purchase another one for the vehicles.Pleased with the the amount of suction it has. But it has a very noticeable shorter cord that are old one.We are not pleased with the shorter cord not as user friendly.I bought a corded vac for that reason not to be cut short literally.

I wanted a hand vac with a cord so I didn't have to buy batteries and because I'd read that they had better suction that the battery kind, but I thought the cord would either retract or have something you could wrap it around when you stored the vac. The cable is very long and heavy and there is no way to put it out of the way when you are finished using the vac. The vac is also VERY loud (much louder than my big floor vac) and the nozzle looks like it could break easily. It does have powerful suction and was inexpensive, so I guess the lesson is "you get what you pay for".

It's inexpensive and works, but the motor overheats easily and the motor is LOUD. Does what I need though, but suction is not as good as a full vacuum; I use this downstairs for picking up crumbs and plant soil that the kids are always leaving everywhere.
