I like my floors clean, really clean! Clean enough to eat off of them. That's why I use this steamer. I've gone through a couple now because the stuff'n out of them. I'll likely go through more over he next 20 years and I'll only by Bissell because of the quality of the machine and results.
works great, amazing how much dirt it picks up without using cleaning chemicals. Use it on my tile floor, I have light grout and do not want the dirty water or cleaning solutions to settle into the grout and stain it over time. This works great, the cord reaches really far and it is light and easy to maneuver around. Can't beat the price either!
I bought one of these years ago for my daughter and she loved it, and she used it at my house, but recently the handle broke off so i decided to buy her another one that is why i got it. I love the way it cleans.
I tried different brands but Bissell hand's down has in my opinion one of the best steam cleaner,I still have the older version it's over 10yrs. old so I just updated with this model.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love it! We have 2 dogs that love to run outside in the dirt and mud and bring it all inside, and this thing is so easy to use, heats up so fast, and glides down the hall like nobodies business.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] - We use this, among other things, to clean ancient kitchen linoleum with embossed patterns that collect dirt, and it's the only thing that really works for that. -We picked this unit over other, fancier devices because of it's price and mechanical simplicity. - Mechanical simplicity means it doesn't have whirling scrubbers that are noisy, bulky, and more likely to break down and be expensive to repair. It also make the head a lot more compact so it will fit into cabinet toe-spaces. - A standout feature is that the head is removable, revealing a power-scrub nose with even more intense steam. This is what gets that ancient dirt out of kitchen linoleum. - You do have to use distilled water for maximum lifespan, but that's not a big deal. We just stock up on four 1-gal bottles at a time; they are inexpensive and readily available in supermarkets. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ #sweepstakes
I bought this primarily because it's advertised as a good vacuum for picking up dog hair. it does a great job at doing that, and I'm amazed at what it picks up in just one run around the house. Hair does get stuck in the container, and I've had to use a tool, like a screwdriver, to push it out when I empty. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase.
...I'm still trying to figure out how to clean our floors without leaving streaks. We're getting up lots of old ground-in dirt off our kitchen floor. But after every cleaning I can see streaks on the floor. I've tried changing pads sooner, working in smaller areas, nothing seems to work. So it's a steam clean, then a clean-up after the steam clean to get rid of the streaks.
I was very excited to finally purchase a steam cleaner. Unfortunately, I got 2 of these. First from Amazon. Came the box repacked. Worse than that, it was missing a screw. W/o the screw the product was useless. Returned it. Ordered one from Walmart. Same exact piece was missing!!! Tried to resolve it with Bissell. They sent me a new handle %26 "screw". Told me that it's the only way they can order it. Wouldn't you know. Got a nice new handle. NO SCREW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Product details indicated this was safe for use on sealed hardwood floors. However, after one use I found noticeable damage as a result of the product. I returned the product the next day with no issues with Walmart or the return process
