Black Max 3600 Wattage Generator, MaxSense CO Sensor Technology, Carb-Compliant I received the generator very well packaged and undamaged. The package is rather heavy. Have a dolly or someone to help you to move it. After the wheels are on it, of course, it's easy to move. The generator came assembled except for the wheels and rubber vibration pads on the front. There was a large instruction sheet for the wheels and pads but the instructions on this sheet were very poor. Go to the operator's manual and there are much better instructions with pictures. There was a bottle of oil included with the generator. Be sure to add it before starting the unit. The generator has a sensor that will shut the unit off if the oil level drops too low. The unit has four (4) 20 amp 120 volt receptacles and one (1) 30 amp 120 volt receptacle for an RV. That's really good for an unit of this size. The operator's manual itself is very well written with plenty of pictures. Be sure to read and understand it before using the generator. After I added the oil and gas I was able to start the generator without any problems. Because this was the first time the unit had been started, I allowed it to run without any load on it for about 1/2 hour. (That was not recommended in the instructions, but I think it's a good idea for any new gas engine.) I then plugged in several shop tools and lights, as a test. The real test for me was my 30 gal. air compressor. The generator handled the compressor, an electric drill, and some work lights without any problems. The bottom line is that the generator performed as well or better than expected.

Have not used this a whole lot but I have fired it up and tested it on a freezer and LED lighting in my garage. Fired up after second pull with the choke on. Motors sound strong and was easily able to handle the wattage of those few things. I'm thinking this would be perfect for a camper. This could easily run air conditioning lights refrigerator water pump. And with its small size you could throw it on a hitch holder or even in the back of the truck. Claims it will run 10 hours with half load and I believe it. And I would recommend this when it goes on sale price seems a bit high on retail but I received this free for review. Saying that I would not pay what it is listed for like I said wait for it to go on sale because it seems like a really good strong generator for a camper or the house just limited to running a few lower wattage items.

This 3600/4500 watt generator powers everything in my 23' toyhauler travel trailer with 1 ac, fridge, 2 tvs, gaming systems, computer, and charging all our devices!

Had this for about a week and have used it everyday. Used it to run table saw and two corded drills plus a chop saw on occasion. It work flawlessly. Ran it for about 5-6 hours each day for 5- days and ran all day on a tank of gas with some gas still left in tank. The folding down is handy and allow you to move the generator around without lifting. It is light enough that I (a 74 year old man) could loan and unload in my pickup without help. The only two negatives so far is that the handle could be designed to comeback for vertical a little to make it more comfortable to move. Also the rubber bumper on top of the frame that cushions the handle from the frame has. come off a few times. I am going to apply a little adhesive to hopefully prevent this from happening. The set up out of the box took about 20-minutes. Had to install the wheels and axle, install the ream bottom frame cushions and fill the crankcase with oil ( supplied). Added fuel and the unit started on the first pull. Very nice little generator. The only reason I gave it four stars is because of the configuration of the handle and the handle pad kept coming off.

Putting the wheel kit on this generator took all of 2 minutes. Oil is included and added easily. Instructions on use are simple and on a large print. When ready to use I turned the fuel valve to on, waited about a minute for fuel to run, put the choke on and it started on the second pull. It is not the noisiest generator I have ever used but it is a gas engine. The safety systems seem well defined though I did not run it in an enclosed space to check on them. The handle folds easily for storage and makes rolling the generator from place to place very easy. I ran a drill on a 50' extension cord and drilled multiple 1" auger holes in a stump. There was not even a load rpm decrease. I then ran a table saw and cut up 2" x 2" oak cubes from an oak piece. At the saws startup the generator "loaded" for a second. Thereafter while cutting and just running the saw the rpms never changed. It has a low oil auto shutoff feature as well as an auto carbon monoxide shutoff feature. Though not big enough to run your whole house during a power failure it can run what you need. It will run power tools in areas without available power. Check to wattage you need and be informed. This will do just fine.

Black Max 3600 Wattage Generator is one nice look unit for a generator.Installing the feet on front and two wheels was so easy In minutes your ready to fill the oil that came with unit and add gas and your ready to start Generator up.I used chock on one or two pulls and the set switch on run,Cranking up engine was easy with no problems.When our power went out we used candles.Candles do not shed much light and has a risk of causing fire.Black Max 3600 Wattage Generator is your piece of mind when weather is bad and your left in the dark for hours.PROS: NICE LOOKING UNIT,EASY WHEEL AND FEET ASSEMBLY,BLACK MAX GENERATOR WORKS AND WORKS GOOD, CON: when stopping the unit using the stop button by pressing on it until generator stops.So the reason I gave it four stars was generator never would stop running. The only way I got generator to stop running was to slide lever to choke.For me that not a problem. Black Max 3600 Wattage Generator u well made and will last for years !!!

I don't know even if it will run . I got it just in case. The electric went off . And it never did. So it is still in the box .
