Black Mountain Products Exercise Balance Stability Disc with Hand Pump Blue

First let me say, I ordered two, and one wouldn't hold air. However after a call to customer service they sent me a replacement within the week. I am enjoying these so far. If stability is a problem, these will exercise balance, stretching muscles and tendons one might not use just walking around the home, or on level flooring. I place mine by my kitchen sink where I have something sturdy to hold on to. I really feel it ! Different movements, back / forth, side to side. This is something one doesn't get with basic walking on a firm foundation or working with physical therapy, unless one is training on therapy mats. I do think these give a bit more challenge. The average person doesn't realize that sidewalks, pavement, and even grassy areas can be in level and challenging for some. Give em a try ! Today is my first use, so I can't review on longevity. But after just a few minutes, which I plan to do a few times a day and increase as I go, I can really feel it !!

The Stability discs are durable and comfortable! My students love sitting on them and find that they are able to focus better when they are able to wiggle a little in their seats. They especially like that they can sit on the smooth side or the bumpy side and that the inflation is adjustable based on preference. I highly recommend these discs for those students that need to be able to move while working!

I've used these Black Mountain Stability Discs at my Community College gym for about 8 years, so when I saw them here, I bought 2 so I could use them at home on days I wasn't at gym or was traveling. Excellent construction and material. Heavy usage at gym and they never gave problems. Noticed yesterday that the gym had bought another pair also because of increased usage. Now I won't have to wait for them there. I do 3 different excercises with dumbells(curls, press's etc) while balancing on them . Really helps improve my stability at 73 yoa!!! Great buy also. I've also bought Black Mountain Exercise Bands with handles and they are excellent also. When I accidently slammed a handle in the door and broke it , they promptly replaced it. Great customer service!

The balance discs are exactly as expected. I use them to improve my balance after knee surgeries. They are a fun way to accomplish this.

I bought this disc in black based on high reviews of others and was not disappointed. Great quality and well made product from a small family-owned company. The pump works well and allows you to inflate/deflate to match your desired firmness.
