I expected it to work really well because it was blocking Decker and it didn't fail. I wanted something that I didn't have to hold the button for, and that made good smoothies and this is it. I have never owned a blender in my life, but love smoothies and milkshakes. It was stupid easy to put together, but more importantly, It makes awesome smoothies! Yes, it's a but loud, but I'm not trying to hide anything lol. People saying it doesn't crush ice obviously didn't read the manual, and the blender walking/dancing is just quirk for a blender that's like $25. Great vakue for the price and perfect for someone who may upgrade in the future when I figure out what I'm doing :)

Not going to lie. i was skeptical with the bad reviews saying it didn't crush ice etc. well i just made a homemade frappe with half a tray of regular size ice cubes and it demolished them. of course you have to add liquid to crush the ice. that's common sense. even my blendjet won't crush ice unless it has sufficient liquid. My only qualm is the lid. it's hard to push it down all the way and not easily pulled back out. other than that. it works properly for what i needed it for.

On my third use, the base literally caught on fire. I was trying to make a smoothie and the blender started smoking and then it just caught fire. I had to jerk the plug out of the wall and throw the base in the sink to put it out. My house smelled horrible for hours because of the burning plastic.

It looks like it's been previously used and returned. It doesn't turn on at all. I ordered through the app/grocery pick up. I can't start a return because the app says “we are having technical issues” every time I try to start a return. I've tried multiple times on different days. The rest of the app continues to work just fine except the return button so I don't think there's a true technical issue.
