The only thing that is a little difficult is that this iron does not have the special coating on the plate that prevents materials from sticking to it, but I was able to clean the plate without any problem.

The iron exceeded my expectations. It is sturdy, durable and so versatile with multiple steam options and it's even self cleaning!

Steam settings really help with difficult wrinkles. This makes the job much easier. Rod does not retract all the way in, but maybe that's by design? I did find if I filled it to the max line, the water sputtered and was a little heavy instead of steam. I would suggest fill ing 2/3 full with distilled water.

This is light and it heats up fast and irons well.

It's very light weight, it seems to be too plastic , but it actually works very well. Been using it for 2 months, so far no issues.

Excellent iron at an excellent price

I typically dont care for black and decker, but after testing 2 other brands this one won out. The water tank is a little difficult to see the water level, but u can see it unlike another more expensive one that u couldnt see the level at all. The rewind is hit and miss getting all the wire in or all but 4 inches. Otherwise it works well for my quilting. No fancy gadgets that u need an engineering degree to figure out. The steam is uniform and does not come out in blotches like another brand does. Overall Im happy with it. A little less color on the tank to see the water level and a better recoil would have earned the 5th star.

I liked the iron alot except that when I would push the spray button to wet the area I was ironing, it would collect some water under the lid (flap) where you pour water in. The more I'd spray, the more water that would collect there. Then when I'd iron, that water would seep out and my iron board or cloth would get so wet. Maybe it was just a defect in my iron, I don't know. So I chose to return it because I didn't want to have a leaky water problem.
