Very nice and secure packing. Easy set up makes it exciting to start using. Only thing I'd like to see different would be the inclusion of the propane adaptor for tank use.
I have yet to try this new blackstone out. Purchase this table top 22 inch for camping trips. I will further review in the following months. Looks really nice i got this one due to the attached hinged hood. Stainless steel front and handle.
Love my Blackstone grills. I have a 36", my boy tried it out and got himself a 36". I just got the 22" so I have a portable Blackstone I can put in the car and take to parks for cookouts and picnics.
I was super excited to receive the Blackstone 2205CA this Father's Day. I had used a Blackstone product the year before, and said “when my grill goes, I'm buying one!” And now I have one. My kids have never got excited for bbq in the past. That is until now with the Blackstone. They are dad-quoting “the Blackstone” on repeat, like it's the family chef. Now, it is the family chef. Thanks for adding to our summer enjoyment!
We bought this griddle for camping trips and it did not disappoint. We've had steaks, burgers, vegetables, and several breakfasts on it, and all were are great. Finding the right heat setting is a little tricky, but an awesome product we hope to use for several years.
This is my second Blackstone and I’m really well satisfied with the price, the quality workmanship, and most of all the great meals I’m preparing daily at our Florida home. My wife was a little reluctant to ok my 22 inch purchase but now I have this unit on our porch, she is a huge fan. I am cooking daily and taken much of the kitchen load off her. From the speedy cooking time to the quick clean up , she is all in on our new way to prepare meals. Thanks Blackstone. I’ll be back and advertise to my friends every change I get . Dan Derringer
Nice little grill. Just the right size for my needs. Must be thin metal in the grill which makes hot spots in it. Ive only used it once so far, so I'll get those figured out eventually.
Overall, very happy with this new grill does a great job meats, fish and vegetables. The one suggestion I have is to include some type of a small fabricated cap on top of the grease cup. When it rains, it fills up with water and prematurely fills up the grease cup and you have to empty it more frequently.
So far we have made burgers, pancakes, eggs, bacon and french toast on the Blackstone 22". After getting used to the temperature zones, the food has come out pretty delicious. I'd say overall it is a solid griddle but does have some negatives. First, despite the large cook top size, there is at least 2 inches along the front, one inch in the back and some areas on the sides that do not get any real heat on them so they are pretty much cool zones. If you have a half a pancake sitting on one of those it will barely cook while the other half does. Second, is the weight. With the base and top of it together it is a pretty heavy haul and quiet awkward because one wrong move and the top will separate from the base (it slides together but does not lock in place). So very important to carry it upright and carefully. Third, whoever is in charge of stickers there should be fired tomorrow. The hood had an 8x12 sticker on it that shredded into a million pieces trying to get off and so I had to use a remover solvent on that. Then I noticed there is warning sticker on the burner section and that came off in one pull but left a sticky residue on the front of the unit. Still haven't gotten that off. Despite the frustrations, I am am enjoying learning to cook griddle-style and the family has enjoyed the meals. I would just think for the luxury-item price of this griddle they would take a few more steps to make it more consumer friendly.
The Griddle I received is a piece of junk. They sent me a new igniter I put it on I’m no griddle mechanic Griddle setting in back yard will not work once flames came out and burned hairs off my hand. I paid for a working unit and got a useless griddle .Will never buy another product from Blackstone . Not sure it will make good scrape metal. Don’t buy Blackstone products.
