Blackstone 28" Griddle Wind Guards for Front or Rear Grease Models

Perfect our new Blackstone!! Great for almost everything on the griddle!!

I just received the Blackstone 28" griddle wind guard's for either the front or rear grease models and I would say it is ingenious! Installed it is perfectly fit and not to high to block from easy use of the griddle. It is doing the job of protecting the temperature from dropping and making it difficult to keep a more consistent temperature. Since I'm a fan of year round grilling, Fall, winter and spring tend to be quite windy which has made for extended cooking times with less than perfect results. This guard system has been wonderful so far. Easy to install as well! I can see this is going to be perfect for the Blackstone for a long time to come. Definitely a good idea!

Works exactly as we hoped it would. The wind in Oklahoma was so fierce the first time we used our Blackstone I immediately researched solutions. We found these guards and ordered hoping they would work as intended. They do!! You won't regret this purchase.

Perfect accessory for our Blackstone griddle. We have a Blackstone griddle at work and one (a little nicer Blackstone griddle) at home. These guards were delivered just as we were leaving for work so we brought them a long to test on our griddle here. As it turns out, they are perfect! We didn't have to move the griddle around or try blocking the sides to keep the flame from going out. Plus, the griddle stayed hotter and cooked our food more evenly. Definitely a much needed accessory! Kudos!

The side ones were great on the 22 inch but the back ones hang off a little bit. Wish they made them for the 22 inch grill. Great quality product. Does a great job of keeping the wind from blowing out my flame.

Great product and does what it is suppose to do. I've got the griddle w/ the hood. I needed the screens to block the wind we have. The screens work great. I never have to worry about the flame going out. But, I wish there were screens to fit the models with the hood. I still use them. The hood does not close completely. But between cooking inside or using my - I will use my griddle. Small price to pay to keep the flame on.

Purchased the blackstone wind screens to help when it windy and I am cooking. Tried them once and so far so good. It wasn't really windy last time I cooked but they did it's job. Only 4 stars as I noticed after first use the black paint was burned off on one of them after my first use of them.

I never give 5 stars because products can always get better. This does the job as needed. Where I live 10 mph winds are a normal in the earlier months. My flames used to go out. Key word USED to. Not anymore. Black stone should just have them on with every unit.

Wind guards do not fit the Blackstone Range Top Combo - 28" Griddle with Bonus Fryer. Only the side guards can be used. The rear guards can't be used with the hood attached to the griddle. Just having them on the sides helps contain the heat and eliminates the effects of strong winds. I purchased them to contain the heat as without them, the shelf is too hot to use while cooking. Very well made. I can keep the side guards on and close the hood. Too bad they don't make a kit that fits the Range top combo correctly. I would give it 5 stars if these fit the griddle.

The griddle guards are good!they keep the wind from hitting directly on the sides and helps with also keeping the grease from splashing onto your clothes. It doesn't stop insects if you're cooking outside but they do work and reduce wind hitting the food.
