Great tasting a flexible.
This is a great gumbo base. I doctor it up with a few extra fried okra pieces so they do not get slimy about 1/4 cup, I also add a few slices of Chappell hill Polish sausage, some left over chicken and I dice up some jumbo shrimp, and you have some of the finest Gumbo you can eat. Plenty for 2 adults or 3 some what good size servings. You do not have to do anything and it's good.
