Very good, could not tell it was gluten free after it was prepared. Instructions were good.
Great for pies and taste like a normal pie base
Gluten free pie crust is a bit different to make. i followed the directions and it turned out well!
wonderful pie crust.
I liked the piecrust. The instructions however, made it hard to make since refrigeration is required. It made the dough too stiff and hard. I had to really work it and it was tiring. Next time I make it, I will try it without the refrigeration to see how it works out.
This is a delicious pie crust! My husband and I love the flavor. It makes up into a top and bottom crust and doesn't fall short on the size when rolled out. The only thing I do different with it is use all butter (2 sticks) instead of butter and shortening as suggested on the back.
My family loves the pie crust. Even family members who don't have to eat gluten free still enjoy it. I also use this mix to make French crepes. They taste a lot better than when I used regular GF flour. I ordered multiple packages at once. Items were shipped immediately. They arrived as promised. Product is as expected.
Thank you for your good products
I think the directions or the mix itself need adjusting. After adding the amount of water given, 6 tablespoons, the dough was still nothing but crumbles. It took double the amount of water to get this to become actual dough you could handle. After chilling, I was able to roll it out between waxed paper, and transfer it to the pie plates. And it baked up fairly well for the pumpkin pie. But it did end up on the hard side for the crimped areas. I'm sure it was the extra water that made it hard. But I defy anyone to just use the 6 tablespoons of water and be able to actually roll it out.
The crust was too crumbly to roll out but I was able to smash it into a pie pan but the taste was not good. Hardly edible
