WILL FOREVER REPLACE MY PLASTIC COFFEE MAKER!!! No plastic touching boiling water adds huge benefit to our health and strengthens flavorful coffee, hitting all of those notes. Ease of use especialy when having a plug in kettle boiler. Ease of storage but out of reach of little ones becaue glass. take it anywhere. Resuable filter is and material used to manufacter is environmentally friendly and cleans well meaning nothing getting stuck in strange corner.. keeping clean adds to health and better flavor too. Cleaning it is simple, I just rinse it out and throw filter in dishwasher. For relgular heat sanitization you do have to take the cork handle off to put the glass in the dishwasher but it slides out easy with a rope lock and is not complicated. I find the pour insert thing not desireable because its plastic. The grip is a little large for my hands it would be nice with a handle opposite of the pour spout. its a good size about the same as a pot of coffee. I enjoy having a cup then putting the rest of it in a glass bottle/jar for cold brew coffee. You could take it comping or to go as all you need it to boil water.. can be done over fire. A new and inexpensive love this little morning friend!

first and foremost the mesh filter works perfectly no grounds get thru whatsoever. it also looks very nice IMO and is the perfect size for my partner and I to last a couple days.

This pour over coffee maker has exactly what I wanted. I am trying to get away from plastic items and switched from a plastic Aeropress. The quality of coffee is similar but no plastic involved. I was slightly disappointed to see plastic around the rim of the stainless steel filter but I understand. It doesn't actually come into contact with the coffee grounds or the water either. Cleanup is easy and the cork around the middle protects your hands. The glass seems thin but durable. Very happy with this product.

We purchased this product in an effort to get away from single use plastic pods and plastic drip coffee machines. While you do need separate apparatus for heating your water, the coffee it produces is smooth, and best of all, free from micro plastics. It cleans easily with hot water, and the stainless filter is a plus because there is no need to purchase filter paper with this pour over. You make as much or as little as you want at a time, and you have total control over your brewing. It's a plus that the item also looks aesthetically pleasing on the counter. I would recommend this to someone looking to reduce their exposure to micro plastics, or someone who wants to get into home brewed coffee.

I thought at "4 Cups", that it would be perfect for husband, since he only has one cup of coffee per day, but you know, it turns out that they are referring to a Four (4) ounce cup! Is that how the world of coffee people describes a cup of coffee? Wow, that is a small, small cup of joe, as they say. I had broken the carafe from my previous Bodum coffee maker, and wanted to replace it for a new one, but this one is much smaller than one might think they're buying! Jus' sayin, I'm keeping it, but wow, that is one tiny cup.

This pour over is well designed and a great value. The only reason I didn't give this item a full five stars is because the neck with the cork insulator is so wide that I can barely hang onto it and I do not have arthritis. If I could give notes to the design team, the neck either needs to be narrower or the insulating pad needs to be thinner or have recesses to make it easier to grip. I've had pullovers in the past that have a silicone collar which would work well on the current design and improve the grip.

You can't tell from the pictures but if you want to make a pour over with a paper filter the hole from the top to the bottom is too big, the paper filter will rip and dump coffee grounds into the bottom, had to go back to my old ceramic pour over. Was hoping to make more than one cup at a time but want to use paper, not a metal filter
