Bodum Pour Over Coffee Maker with Permanent Filter, 1 L, 34 Ounce, Black, Glass

This pour over coffee maker has exactly what I wanted. I am trying to get away from plastic items and switched from a plastic Aeropress. The quality of coffee is similar but no plastic involved. I was slightly disappointed to see plastic around the rim of the stainless steel filter but I understand. It doesn't actually come into contact with the coffee grounds or the water either. Cleanup is easy and the cork around the middle protects your hands. The glass seems thin but durable. Very happy with this product.

easy to use, I use a small pot of water to pour over so I do recommend a kettle! great quality of coffee especially paired with Bustello coffee. 3½ table spoon of coffee for 3-4cups of water(I like it on the strong side.) Best choice of coffee maker for small apartments with little counter space, easily stored away.

It was so hectic having to wait on my pour over, I had waited a couple days to order waiting on my check to deposit. Then, my Walmart order arrived! Every thing I went through getting my pot was a payoff. The taste was over the top and I missed my old school way of brewing beans! Try the pour over you won't ever use a cord again.

I am trying to not use plastic especially where heat is involved. This pour over glass coffee dripper works perfectly. Easy to clean and easy to use. I am very satisfied with this purchase. Much better than a french press in my opinion. Coffee grounds do not get in the coffee.

We purchased this product in an effort to get away from single use plastic pods and plastic drip coffee machines. While you do need separate apparatus for heating your water, the coffee it produces is smooth, and best of all, free from micro plastics. It cleans easily with hot water, and the stainless filter is a plus because there is no need to purchase filter paper with this pour over. You make as much or as little as you want at a time, and you have total control over your brewing. It's a plus that the item also looks aesthetically pleasing on the counter. I would recommend this to someone looking to reduce their exposure to micro plastics, or someone who wants to get into home brewed coffee.

this coffee maker is totally awesome much superior to anything I've ever used in my kitchen I highly recommend this product there's something about this coffee maker that packs the punch in coffee making. The glass does get extremely hot so make sure you set it on top of a small towel or a mat.

First, you should know that Bodum is an extremely well-known and quality brand. If you have ever shopped at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City, you are aware of the quality of their items. Bodum makes the "pour over" coffee maker MoMA sells, which is identical to this one except in the detail of this one's having cork where it is held, while MoMA's has a handle. Also, please be aware that the only plastic used in this coffee maker is on the edges of the stainless steel cone, which area is well out of the way of the coffee and of the hot water poured through the cone. Therefore, nothing that the user will ever consume comes in any contact with plastic. Nothing. Therefore, a person is not exposed to microplastics while using this coffee maker because, unless the hot water is poured onto the edge of the cone, nothing is exposed to the small amount of plastic used in the coffee maker. I love this product. Mainly, I love avoiding microplastics, but I also love the coffee this maker provides, and I appreciate the super low cost of the product. It's a winner in every way.

I thought at "4 Cups", that it would be perfect for husband, since he only has one cup of coffee per day, but you know, it turns out that they are referring to a Four (4) ounce cup! Is that how the world of coffee people describes a cup of coffee? Wow, that is a small, small cup of joe, as they say. I had broken the carafe from my previous Bodum coffee maker, and wanted to replace it for a new one, but this one is much smaller than one might think they're buying! Jus' sayin, I'm keeping it, but wow, that is one tiny cup.

This pour over is well designed and a great value. The only reason I didn't give this item a full five stars is because the neck with the cork insulator is so wide that I can barely hang onto it and I do not have arthritis. If I could give notes to the design team, the neck either needs to be narrower or the insulating pad needs to be thinner or have recesses to make it easier to grip. I've had pullovers in the past that have a silicone collar which would work well on the current design and improve the grip.

You can't tell from the pictures but if you want to make a pour over with a paper filter the hole from the top to the bottom is too big, the paper filter will rip and dump coffee grounds into the bottom, had to go back to my old ceramic pour over. Was hoping to make more than one cup at a time but want to use paper, not a metal filter
