This is so much better than the cork version Bodum. it's dishwasher safe and easier to handle, thicker with a metal filter. Removable rubber center. oh and it makes GREAT coffee. put it on a tray and drink it hot both cups. love it!

If you're a coffee connoisseur, maybe you know about this style coffee maker already or maybe not? This makes such a fresh tasting cup of coffee that will exceed your expectations. If you're brewing from a traditional method and drinking coffee that way, you're in for a nice surprise. There is a big taste difference with a pour over brew. Sure, you have to boil the water, be "hands on" and be involved with it. So, what? It's worth it. Last but certainly not least, the price I paid was the lowest online or anywhere, period and was shipped (free) to a nearby WM store for pickup. Drink only fresh, great tasting coffee and be well. I love it .it makes good coffee and unlike the drip coffee maker your coffee doesn't get old and nasty tasting, I reheat in microwave

Wife bought me this for my birthday (tomorrow) and like a little kid, I couldn't wait so she let me "try it out" this afternoon. Excellent cup of home-roasted. The scooper must be sized for a very dainty cup, though. I put 3 1/2 scoops in for about 2 of my cups of coffee, which filled the round part up to an inch from the bottom of the insulator ring. Probably go with 4 scoops next time. It did a VERY nice job of holding the water long enough to impart flavors, and strained it acceptably. Wrap a cuptowel around the body and it'll keep the 2nd cup reasonably hot for ya! All in all, I'd say it was well worth the picture of Mr. Franklin. Bonus being it's not Asian-made! Good job, Walmart!

Easy to use, but even with the correct grind coffee grounds still make it into the brew.. Not a ton of grounds but enough to stop me from drinking the last of the brew.
