Only 2 out of 4 were Better Boys

Steve May 7, 2026

These are nice plants. One is 11” and the other about 9”. The stems are nice and sturdy with a good diameter. I ordered two sets of two Better Boys but ended up with two Better Boys and two Husky Cherries. I gave it 5 stars only because it's possible I made a mistake ordering. However, the two varieties are no where near each other on the Walmart web site and I never look at cherry tomatoes since I hate them due to too many seeds and too much skin. The invoice says two BB and two Husky Cherry but I think it was changed. Even tho Im doing 5 stars, I will never get plants from Walmart or Bonnie unless I walk in and pick them up myself. I have coated seed to plant myself but procrastinated till too late to plant inside. One of the 4 was wilted due to not enough soil but I think with water and more soil I can save them. They were all thirsty which is to be expected.

Took about 2 weeks to harden enough for continuous outside environment. As a bonus one of the containers had two plants far enough apart that they could be separated after about a week. Yippy!

These from Bonnie were packaged beautifully and arrived in perfect condition. Healthy little stocky plants. Have not yet grown long enough to taste the tomatoes but the plants look good.

Tomato's

The plants came very well packaged. One is doing better than the other, I'll have to wait and see when they produce tomato's.

When they first arrived they looked ok , but in a couple days the leaves started to roll under, so i planted them in containers with the recommended soil recommendations , im hoping they make it they are not looking good, i tried to get replacement but they make it such a hassle , No more plants from here 10.00 for 2 plants I'll be doing good if one of them survives,
