Brentwood 1.5L SS Cordless Tea Kettle Brushed

Heats quickly. Cordless is the way to go. The base plugs into outlet, Teapot lifts off and onto base. Heating element is in the black part of the teapot, consealed. Once boiling is reached, teapot automatically shuts down. It does not have a keep warm feature. We got it for the safety of auto shut off. For those wishing to heat something other than water, be aware this pot has a 90 degree seam at the bottom which would be a chore to clean. Be aware electric teapots when heating make some sound. We are happy with the teapot and would buy again.

works great....heats up fast and it's made of germ free stainless. Also very smooth inside so it's easy to clean if you need to. Looks pretty on the counter and the price is excellent!

I use this item at work great for heating water for tea, coffee. The water heats up super fast! I love how it just turn it self off.

I bought this kettle to save on electricity instead of heating water on top of my kitchen range. When I opened the manual to read how to prepare this kettle for use, the manual states to fill the kettle with cold tap water to the maximum indicator mark on the water level indicator. Looking at the picture in the manual, it appears that the indicator mark is supposed to be a sight glass type of indicator, but there isn't one on this particular kettle. Instead, the level is stamped on the side, but in order to read it, you have to open up the kettle, look under the top rim to the inside under the handle. I'm sure a sight glass would be nice, and might possibly leak, which is why it's not on this kettle. But, I believe the stamped level indicators should be on one of the sides, not under the handle.

I bought three of the Brentwood KT-1780's, two as Christmas gifts and one for myself. This proved to be an excellent product and one I'm sure will last a good number of years. Right out of the box, I rinsed the pot, filled with cold water, switched it on and in a short time I was enjoying a fresh brewed cup of piping hot tea. Quality of the item and ease of operation are exceptional. I'm a fan and I would recommend the Brentwood KT-1780 to all my family and friends. I'm waiting for reports on the two I gave as gifts. If they had the same result as me, I would say we have a winner on our hands.

Seems to work well, no complaints other than it's not all stainless steel.

If you need to boil water immediately after first boil, be careful opening the lid since the kettle's design is missing a button that opens a lid. The description says 1000 W but it's 1200 W. Overall, the kettle is well made and is completely stainless except for plastic cover.

Been using this for over a year now....wanted a stainless steel electric kettle for a while, as I feel like the plastic ones are unheathy...this does the job and stays hot for a long while!
