perfect for two year old birthday. it is animsl theme. my great grandson loves the waffles in animal shapes. ..always more fun. dad enjoys too nice quality. abit expensive but seems to be worth it. better then another toy.

Fabulous little waffle maker

My g-daughters love the animal shapes. the only issues is to pour on a little less than 1/2 cup of batter, more and it spills over easily. Only takes 1 min to cook though the instructions say 5 mins.

While this review is a 3 star that's stretching it and it's merely due to the fact that it's Olaf. Each waffle takes a while to assemble as Olaf doesn't come out in one piece but pieces which then have to have the excess batter/waffle removed so you can assemble him. The unit itself is that of any average big box simple waffle iron. My issue with the iron and instructions itself is that in the instruction stated "3-6 minutes" for cook time depending on the batter being used. It's fair to say that I used an average big box brand of pancake/waffle mix however 3 minutes and Olaf was beyond golden tanned and had reached burnt marshmallow stage. I tried again at 2.5 minutes and nearly the same outcome. Four Olafs later and the cook time was reduced to 55 seconds to get a fluffy and decent waffle out of the whole thing. The best and honestly, only redeeming quality to this gem is that it is super cute and when you have an Anna and Elsa in your life some waffles are just worth dealing with.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not too picky with my products because you get what you pay for and I've never really had any problems besides my order taking long to arrive but this one is ridiculous. After one use, it started getting stuck! I read the box and everything. Did everything right but still it got stuck and it is VERY hard to clean.
